I suggest you the korg nanokontrol2 because its too small so it can fit everywhere. Sometimes they dont give enough space at shows to put my things on. anndd the nanokontrol is really easy to set up on tpuchdesigner

Thanks for the great tutorial! Im having such trouble with using the null/lookat for the CamSequencer - wheneveri use it and try to change the camera positions (default settings on the Null) it constantly either doesn't allow the camera to move or it points away from the particles. Any tips?

Solution that worked for me: Right click on camera and set "Camera Navigation Mode" to "Object Mode"

when i try to link the speed of the particles with the mids as in 6:20 it doesnt work, there is an error, i dont know how to fix it. any ideas?

OMG I just found out you need to add to: op('speed') --> ['mid'] so that it says: op('speed')['mid']

I have an issue where when I connect the transform to the particles GPU it outputs a very different image than what we create inside the particles gpu. Not sure why.

My particle system breaks every time I close the file. If I put in a new particlesGpu node and reconnect all of my parameter inputs, it works just as before with no issues. It just breaks every time I close. All drivers are up to date. Anyone have suggestions?

based on my experience all that audio analysis staff has to be really finely tuned and doesn't work well often :(

it's true, not easy to make work for a variety of very different songs and genres. but you could work with rhythms and beats alternatively too!
