I have a pair of these on my master for a little top and bottom and they are awesome! And like you found - 8k on acoustic sounds awesome and usually I use the low shelf to cut a bit of bottom to help it sit in the mix. You should try this on kick as well!! I print a lot of tracks through these

Mine just came in 2 days ago.... so now inhave that paired up with their 1176d and warm audios clone of the 1073. JESUS....... the eqp and the 76d paired together in my opinion is magic and wonders.... my vocal chain is on a different level through tracking the warm audio pre amp is clutch with them as well. And to run my sounds through my little daisy chain system( how i connect them all together) from my daw into my pre-amp into the 1176, into the eqp a back into my interface is nuts but im getting good results even though i have to commit and print to track still great peices of gear man the sounds are just again magical and warm....

Would you choose the audio scape eq or the Pultec eqp 1s?

I dont understand the question.

@@MixingMusicAnalog do you think the audio scape is better or the Pultec ?
@Googahgee Жыл бұрын
@@KunchangLeeMusic would you choose to spend $5000 or $1200? For 95% of people running a studio, the cost of the pultec is just not affordable unless their client count and rates are high enough to where having the original helps “sell” their professionalism and proficiency. You can put an SM58 in front of a singer and EVEN if it sounds better on their particular voice, the singer may feel more comfortable with the session or give a better performance singing into a U87. Answering these questions requires a lot of context and really just comes down to the buyer’s specific purposes, especially when the units are so close.
