I've got both of the audioscape pultec clones chained in series with each other and they're really fantastic. The Kush Audio Electra eq is super flexible as well.

I like the Tegeler Myth EQ 500 a lot, and the Roger Schult W2395c is awesome as well. The Roger Schult EQ is a great colour box. It's not so much about frequency correction but adding texture and charisma to a signal. When it comes to plugins, I like Waves Kramer HLS Channel or the UA Helios 69 Legacy EQ a lot, especially on electric guitars.

The old Joe Meek eq plugin you got with PT was great for guitars. Simple 3 bands and great mids.

I have been using Erin from Acustica Audio for the midrange EQ for lead guitars. It’s a Pultec design. I would gladly check this one out.

i am lucky to own both audioscape pultic EQ"s very nice sounding. i have there version of 260 vu compressor coming tomorrow. own some of there other stuff. i like there products. very glad i bought the pultics. i like tracking with MEQ-A
