The Audio Technica sounds warmer, I liked it more. The EPS sounds a little distorted on the highs.

They sell this one (just the stylus) for $25 on Amazon but the shipping is kinda forever. Got this one to replace the one that comes with the LP120X turntable.

Nice sound. Try an Audio Technica AT-VMN95ML stylus on there - they're interchangeable. It's a microline stylus that will sound even better!

I have VM95ML on my Audio Technica AT-LP120 and it´s by far the best cartridge i ever had. MicroLine stylus is a top notch tracker - sibilance and IGD are totally gone (something i fighted a lot with many conical/elliptical stylus cartridges). Only small problem is a little mismatch of cartridge compliance and tonearm mass as the cartridge tends to resonate/oscillate on a very low frequency when playing a record but since it´s not something i can deal with and since it´s not affecting sound quality i live with it.

@@ROBOTOX_CZ It's easy to fix, just play with the weight of things like the headshell and the counterweight. Need a heavier tonearm? Add a heavier headshell, aluminum maybe. Or just put blutack in it. If it's not by much, something like brass screws will help by 1,5 or 2 grams. Need a lighter tonearm? Get a bigger counterweight for your arm, or the DIY option - just stick coins with blutack to the counterweight to try to get it closer to the pivot. I'd try to fix it anyway you can because it will take life out of your stylus and records.

I feel like the Technics have just a bit more highs? But either way the Audio Technica sound great for the price. What is your opinion?

The two models present similar results. The EPS 270 had the loudest sound and the AT-VM95C a little more definition. The price of the EPS 270 is lower, but it is difficult to find good quality original models. The AT-VM95C is a little more expensive, but it is possible to buy the original factory-sealed packaging, which guarantees quality. I choose Audio Technica!

95c's over distance seems to be different from technisc, right?

Eu escolho a Audio Technica!

Eps is distorted and has ugly sounding simblence , the AT is clearer and I did not hear simbince. Would be a better compare if you played the same part of the record track over with each cart , as opposed to switching it out throughout the song . Sometimes simblence is more noticeable earlier in a track . But I absolutely despise the simblence , the eps is way more distorted and breaks up a little . Also it's highs are way to bright , sounds like you cranked the treble up but I'm guessing it's just the cart. The blue AT is the winner for my ears . That simblence on the eps made me gag
