One of the best half hours I spent on a KZbin video. It's already been more than a year I met Nathaniel Rateliff's music and countless times I've heard this session; don't know why it took me so long to leave this comment here. Thanks @Audiotree for all the beautiful music you shared throughout these years.

dont be too harsh on the interviewer, like us he is in awe of the band and actually does a great job getting some light hearted and off the wall commentary for his listeners .... the band are cool and humble, dont miss a beat and lay down some seriously mellow and smooth melodies

I quite enjoy the interviewer. I like his quirky ess and the way he beams while talking to them. And the performance of Nathaniel and the others... Wow
@arugbygentlemankirielenko5354 жыл бұрын
yup totally agree .... it is clear the guy is a genuine "fan" of the music and is filling in the gaps with enthusiasm .... i think his enjoyment actually enhances the "vibe" of the session and with nathaniel and the band's positive responses, banter and laughter it is clear everyone was having a good time ! What's not to like !

The fact that this only has 122k views after being up for this long is an absolute shame.

The first time I heard one of your songs i was puzzled, how did I miss this song, thinking it was 40 yrs old. I actually called the radio station for the first time since I was 12.

NR is awesome. Hard to take the interviewer seriously when he takes himself so seriously and rambles on. NR handles him very humbly.
@byrnesdubc8 жыл бұрын
He actually asked Nathaniel really in-depth questions about his writing style and the production of the music. Most interviewers either comment on his dancing or ask why he likes Europe so much. Not many have actually been as professional as this guy. It's a nice change of pace.

I went to College with the host and he is one of the most authentic people I have ever encountered. He is genuinely interested in everyone he interacts with. And a spectacular conversationalist.

So I guess he has some solo stuff that is more folk-based vs. Him + The NIght Sweats that is more throwback '50s Americana. True??

Generally true... the but look Nate gave him when he was like, "Yeah we left baskets on door steps, knocked and ran away.." I sense that Nate had a hard life growing up. I doubt there was extra money for baskets. =P
