I love this song because of this small but profound experience: While on tour with my band in Portland ME, on new years eve, I left and went out by myself to buy drugs. I was a serious drug addict back then and was totally miserable! But while I was by myself I had this band in my headphones as I drove through the outskirts of portland Maine. Something about being by myself for the first time in awhile... just a great memory

My top picks are Cake's Prolonging the Magic, This Year's Model by Elvis Costello, Nux Vomica by the Veils, the first two Florence + the Machine albums, MCR's the Black Parade, Rock and Roll Part Three by Ozma, Pinkerton by Weezer, Witching Hour by Ladytron, xInfinity by Watsky, Coming up by Suede, Peepshow by Siouxsie, Hide From the Sun by the Rasmus, First and Last and Always by Sisters of Mercy, and Bloodletting by Concrete Blonde. There are a few others but that's what springs to mind.
