It is a real shame that HE is not used as an example to train ALL Police Officers. His whole manner just ALTERS the whole interaction right from the start where all chance of confrontation is just avoided. Co operation and info gathering is then EASY and SO civil. That is the style of Professional Policing I remember as a kid with the "Village Bobby". Miss it

Just said that to my wife, I also saw a police woman on DJE media. Very broad Belfast accent. And that's how polite we are from Northern Ireland. We speak to everyone. Even our police are not as bad as some I have witnessed in England. And I have had plenty of Barneys with them.

The first time I came to live in London I was 23 and couldn't believe that people didn't know who their neighbours were. Plus the police officer knew that there was no danger with a camera and that no laws were being broken. When people are relaxed they deal with situations better than a fool running about like a headless chicken.

The embassies of Afghanistan are nowadays a business to rip off poor Afghan people abroad. The current govt is not recognized and people still carry old passports and other documents. People working in embassies take advantage of that and charge people a lot of money for stamping documents and so on. Each embassy is like an independant terroritory controlled by no one. That explains the reaction from that guy.

TOP TIP for you AB: As you're easily recognised from your voice (sometimes pretty much instantly), for way better content, if I were you I'd consider not saying a word for a minute or two after they start asking you questions in order to get a true and honest reaction from any officers(police or security). At least then you won't get a fake or smiley reaction from the start this way and also seeing the instant change in how they behave once they do in fact recognise you will be pretty entertaining for all parties including your loyal audience!
