Hanna at the job center was a rude clueless fool. She had no idea how to approach a member of the public and didn't want to listen to any data breach concerns. The DWP officially allows recording from public areas and photography is allowed from anywhere with public access. There is no expectation of privacy in a public place or from a place with public access. The power ranger was a joke. He did his best to intimidate and assert his 'authority' but failed miserably. The 'big brother' speaker was disgraceful. Discriminating and singling out anyone without reasonable evidence is surely against the law. This needs to be highlighted with your MP. Acting suspiciously or dressing differently or using a camera in public is not against the law.

Take a complaint out that you felt alarmed and distressed and felt you could be harmed by members of the public due to their actions, the operator behaved in an antisocial way, you broke no laws so they shouldn't have done that, but suppose there is no point as government are unaccountable if you complaine end up chasing your tale for years and severely out of pocket, you could say they put you in danger

I’ve found myself in harship before and resorted to signing on/universal credit Fortunately this contempt and attitude is not across the board I have personally had job centre workers who are AWARE of the draconic views of their colleagues. There is good people out there But thanks to AB We get to see an insight into public services

I do believe that glass windows are designed to let in light and be looked through as well, that is their purpose. And blinds were invented to block out the light and prevent people from being able to see through them. Someone needs to inform the manager the purpose of windows !

Or you can retrofit windows with a reflective film. This is applied to the glass and allows a view out, but not in. However, in this case, it's not been fitted after decades of people being able to see in.
