@@adamhannon4178 Go into preferences --> audio channel mapping --> then it shows you the inputs it uses for left and right. Choose the same input channel for both L and R.

is there a way to do this automatically for many individual tracks.. I have a 1 hour podcast episode recorded and it has multiple sequences with pauses in between.. do I have to do this to every single one or is there an easier way out?

Edit+Preferences+Audio Hardware+Defaul imput choose the same line in both channels Line1 or line 2 . Fix your problem !

I have no idea what's going on. My mic has worked fine for a year, recording and all and now it's only playing back on the right side. It shows it's recording to both left and right but I can only hear it out of the right side. It's not my headphones or my speakers because I can you hear you clearly on both sides, but for some reason my recordings are only playing on the right while showing recording on both sides.

I converted my audio track to stereo & it shows the 2 channels but in multitrack shows as mono so far cannot figure out, all other tracks show as stereo

That’s strange. You may want to check your audio hardware mapping in the preferences window.

This is literally not a fix and you should be ashamed of this video. No one should have to copy paste channel data with every single recording!

not a good workaround because you will still only monitor in Left side when recording - and tedious. Rather when creating the file, choose Mono!

We are talking about receiving a one-sided audio track, not recording one. Some people aren’t that smart.
