Unless he was using his personal laptop and email, every email would be automatically backed up by the email servers. It would be impossible for them to disappear if his laptop was connected to their government networks.

@@MadeGreatCanadianMediaYeah, it’s so bizarre. I’ve been a network admin for gov and military networks, so I know how it works. I was like “wait, wtf is he talking about?” It was entirely nonsense. Unless, again, he was doing something very illegal in using a personal laptop and email, separate from the secure gov networks to do all his government business on. I’m very surprised nobody has looked into that. It would have had to be purposeful and with intent to lose official government data. Either by doing it illegally and improperly from the start so no backups would be made, or deleting it all after the fact from gov email servers.

This day and age it is all but impossible for e-mails to just disappear because you change batteries. I changed batteries a few times years ago. Absolutely nothing was lost. Absolute bullshit!

That's why when you delete an email from your laptop, it's also gone from your desktop computer as well. The notion that it mysteriously disappeared is a blatant lie. Min Doan is a criminal that stole taxpayer money. He needs to go to prison. And not the country club of the prison system. He needs to go to the "phuck-you-in-the-ass" prison. No solitary. General population.
