As Ken said to Peter earlier, Audrey is entitled to her feelings, but in Peter’s defence him running Stephen over had nothing to do with their confrontation earlier and Peter was only defending a fellow local and Audrey trying to paint Peter as the villain ain’t going to achieve anything for her.

I get it's her son that's dead but he killed people. The way Audrey is talking makes it seem like she believes Stephen could be redeemed as well as being forgiven because he didn't go through with killing Jenny. Truth is Stephen was a killer and he would continue to strike again if anyone else got in his way. He got off too easy in the end.

Peter should have told Audrey to go speak to Rufus’s son before defending Stephen instead of trying paint Peter as the villain . And how was Peter to know what Stephen said to Jenny about not hurting her. And when has a serial killer’s word ever meant anything. He could have easily change his mind. I think it was kind of ridiculous of Jenny to tell Audrey what Stephen said to her in the first place let alone not defend Peter’s actions. Even if Audrey is allowed to feel the way she feels, she should not be allowed to ignore or disregard other people’s feeling especially those who have been directly affected by Stephen’s actions.
