I do have a suggestion for those watching: Do not put your fingers in your product. Use a small plastic spatula to prevent contamination. Bacteria from your fingers will do a number on the entire container and guess what happens then? You'll have breakouts. If you don't care, of course -- do what this girl is doing and dig in with your fingers.

Next skincare product suggestion: Dr Bronners Castille Soap? People use this as a cleanser and dilute it before using it. There is a tea tree, rose, lavender, peppermint and more. I really want to see you try it!!
@chelsea80825 жыл бұрын
I have the the tea tree oil one in the orange bottle. I never really saw the hype about dr. bronners soap AT ALL. Whenever I would use it I would make sure to dilute it and it still made my skin red after and I didn’t see a difference in the bumps on my skin even though tea tree oil can typically be used for that. Plus I feel like something that can also be used to clean household appliances, brush your teeth, rinse fruit, wash dishes, kill ants and etc. doesn’t belong on your face.

@@chelsea8082 True, it all works differently for everyones skin though- Ive seen some people swear by it and how it has cleared up their skin, and some people claim it was not for them, so I guess it all works differently for everyone. Hey Audrey, I'm loving your week long skin tests with a variety of creams/ointments, and likely other tests. I appreciate your being a guinea pig for the substances cuz many of us won't take the time to do it (or are afraid). The vasoline test was very interesting. I had been looking it up online cuz I wanted to know if vasoline could harbor any infective stuff. I found out that if you dip your finger(s) in to get some out for your skin, potentially you put bacteria and yeast(fungus) plus dead skin cells in the cream, etc. The dead skin cells then provide food and some moisture for the bacteria/fungus. Then the next time you dip your finger in, you could infect a vulnerable area of your face (anywhere the skin is broken, ie: breakouts, corners of mouth where its nice & moist, or a cut or scratch). I always thought vasoline couldn't hold microbes, so I was shocked that it could! I looked it up cuz I have recently been putting it in the corners of my mouth which were very dry and reddened and sore, later cracking too. I realized after reading the answer to my ?. does vasoline harbor and microbes, that I had inadvertently reinfected the same area (now vulnerable to fungus after having it) 3 times--UGH! Now watching your vids with both Vasoline and Nivea, I noticed you doing the same thing I do by dipping fingers into pots of cream. I'm going to start fresh with a new cream for moistening any dry, sore or red looking areas on my face and using a tiny spoon (freshly washed or soaked for 10 min in alcohol). We shall see... Thank you so much. Next I'm gonna watch the Shea butter vid which I read a few places was noncomedogenic, mmmmm. and can't wait to find out your results. Oh, and I am now a subbie! Yayyyyyy.

One thing that you might want to look into is how the ingredients in this creme are conflicting with the rest of your skin care products and their ingredients. Nivea creme has a direct acid in it and it will be conflicting other direct acids or peptides or a derivative of Vitamin C. I personally would also use niacinamide under this creme to help with regulating sebum production. That would help with regulating the breakouts you are experiencing!

I’ve been using this for literal years and I never once had a problem however if you put too much you can get breakouts because your making your skin way to oily and since it’s really thic it takes time to absorb in your skin This works really well for sensitive skin and as long as you use the right amount it works really well

@alekmikate3 жыл бұрын
Breakouts are caused mostly by month cycle. You need to use the product for WHOLE cycle, about 28 days, to see the actual result. Mostly moisturiser won’t cause those breakouts but cycle will.

I was pretty skeptical tbh xD, but also I do not apply this alone. Underneath I use the One thing centella toner and Cosrx snail mucin. Then I will apply a little bit of cetaphil moisturizer and layer the last step with a little bit of this nivea creme to kind of seal what's inside and go to bed. When I wake up my skin feels very healthy 🥰 hope it helps

Oh girl! This cream should not be used every night for someone with sensitive, combo or oily skin. This cream would be like a night mask for someone with skin like that for extra moisture and to treat your skin. There's comparisons for this cream to the creme de la mer face cream. Most people who use that la mer cream say its very rich and is only used 2-3 times a week and only at night. Also lanolin can be comedogenic for most people! Your boyfriend likely has super resilient skin because men are just blessed that way.
@AudreyVictoria5 жыл бұрын
Yes that's all true, however there are people who use it every day which is why I wanted to try it out. Also, I did mention that lanolin can be comedogenic for some people. Going forward, I will only be using this when the air is really dry.
@Kimxoxo22085 жыл бұрын
It's normal that you break out if you only use a new product a couple of times, your skin needs to get used to it and you need to give it like 2/3 weeks and your skin will (most of the times) react to the product in a good way. When i started using it i was breaking out too but now it's the best moisturizer i've used

I remember at some point i used to have dehydrated skin so when it happened i would use that cream overnight and my skin would get back its moisture BUT when i would use it for more than 3 days my skin would 80%of the time breakout... This cream is very moisturizing but its almost too much, its very rich and thick to the point it can actually clog your pores so if i had to recommend it for something it would be more for really really dry skin or as an overnight mask

I am 30 and live in North Macedonia. While it is probably considered "old-fashioned", for me it is an irreplaceable product. I love this cream and have been using it for a long time... besides vaseline, it is the only cream I use and have been FOOOOR years, non-stop. I use it on my face, arms, legs, feet, armpits, sexy zone 😊... everywhere basically and I put atleast 10 times a day to face and palms. I love it. The smell. Texture. Thickness. It works excellent for me in winter and summer. My skin basically absorbs it in a half an hour. I get perhaps 1 pimple in a few months or even 1-2 a year. I love it and I hope they never change anything about it. My skin feels SOOOO smooth and I put double the amount the girl in the video puts when applying. It never appeared white on my face as it does when she puts it. I use a 400ml package in less than a month. LOVEEEEE THIS CREAM and I don't care for some newly categorized BAD ingredients it contains, or controversial whatever the new naming is. When it works, it works and for me this is a lifetime commitment 😊
