Best show ever made. My opinion but definitely worth the shout for best characters & feel good programme on TV. I was only 9 when the first series in Germany started and I often watch repeated episodes & that & the others it gives me such a nostalgic feeling for the show is Awesome. Ian la Frenais I think it’s spelt wrote true TV gold. ✌️✊✌️

My ex went crazy when we didn't have much money around about 2000 ish - the series were being shown on the tv channel Bravo in the UK, but we were out in Bexleyheath and I bought the vhs box set of both series for £79.99 (for context I think I was earning a couple of hundred a week at the time and could have watched it every night episode after episode on Bravo) haha! good times, still got the VHS - the ex went years ago.
