Boo in my opinion, you had every right to be afraid of calling tech support. I had the misfortune of being a dell customer for almost 5 years due to the fact i had a really high end laptop (At the time, no room for a desktop) But every phone conversation i had with them about what was wrong with it, got to the point where i got word for word on the steps they do to "Know the problem". Got to the point where i told them "Your no help, transfer me to someone who can". Anywho, glad it worked out :D

Same thing almost happened to me. I noticed a couple small MS point transactions that I did not buy so I changed my password and switched up my credit card info. A week later I got a notice for a failed 4000 MS point purchase. I was lucky.
