Augmentation NERFED! 10.2 Havoc Rework and Class Changes!

In this week’s update, we're checking out the NERFS to Augmentation finally in the hopes that the meta for 10.2 will be better! There are also a lot of Class changes with nerfs and buffs to level the playing field, and a few tier sets reworked to better be competitive with the rest. On top of it, the HAVOC REWORK has been datamined and we know what the changes are!

Good changes. Now if the devs could remember Survival Hunter is an actual spec and update it a bit with some raid/group buffs through pets, that would be great.

Wondering when this changes will be on the PTR so I can see if Ret is planed to remain very low in Raid dps or if the nerfs were tolerable. Rogue is looking better and better in comparison.

those damn fools, nerf Breath of Eons, not Ebon Might! Breath causes HUGE damage because the Aug takes advantage of when players are using their big CDs, therefore when you buff other classes, the effect of Breath only exacerbates the power scaling!

They need to make circle of healing on Holy Priest a passive ability that empowers Prayer of Healing like how Monk Vivify gets empowered. That would help with button bloat.

That fel breath of syndragosa thing for dh could imply mobility coming for frost dk? The rework sounds insane i started maining dh this season and didnt think it needs a rework because i enjoy it so much un like paladin before rework looks like it will have now build variety to momentum without losing essence of the spec

I hope they dont nerf unholy dk. I saw some unholy ptr doing over 1M damage on pulls with about 7 to 8 enemies. If blizz nerf, it will proves they give advantages to mage (and someone inside plays mage) cuz mage are allowed to do over 1M (much more, i've seen some hit 1.6M this season). Let unholy shine, you already deleted our garg and army (and also nerfed PI), cUz We CaNt HaVe BiG bUrSt on bosses (but another class will, i'm fkin sure, my bet is on rogue if they dont get nerfed).

when I first heard dh rework, all I could thought of was no momentum builds anymore. sadge. seriously, why waste mobility spells on damagei so stupid. I dont see mages blink to do dmg. ( i main unholy and used to relax on dh)

I see your point, I still think momentum is fine. Why NOT have a spec that's different? Why play similar with other specs? You can play Fury and chill, has a lot of mobility and you never use it for damage. I do agree that momentum should NOT be the best all the time forcing people to play what they don't like. But I don't think it should go away

i remember them nerfing godcomb all day and they STILL nerfing them? how many times do they nerf something, i have never seen that in any game ever something being nerfed like 100 times and still keep getting nerfed

I personally hate THIS class. now, when I watch a video Mythic+ on youtube, I have no idea what's real damage, and what isn't. Or should I say, NATIVE damage from the class its self without AUGs aid. Sigh.

TLDR but straight to the points of why Havoc rework is god awful as of now. The main ST build you'll run doesn't even take talents that jive with the tier. The tier bonus we have now sims better then the new one. The tier bonus for the hunt won't give you another until around the 5.5 min mark in fight with decent RNG. Utility with spectral sight is once again a damage button, the DH way!🙃 You're fury starved on the PTR. No one asked for more immo damage. Soulrend is in a weird spot in the tree. momentum buff will never hit 30 secs even if you FR FR Hunt and VR back to back to back 22 secs max, and you'll never use them in such a way. Most two point nodes that went to one point nodes received damage nerfs. EyeBeam got a 10% nerf and we lose damage buff for eyebeam from tier we currently have. People hated momentum and they doubled down on it. DH dev is rogue dev, rogue got amazing changes and DH got shafted. Glad rogue is my alt because the DH will now collect dust. Little tangier and 2 min meta are the only positives.

I love having Augs in my group for any content. Not required, but welcomed utility and damage contribution.
