August 2024 LEGO Store Release Day Shopping Vlog!!

Happy August 1st Lego release day!! Surprisingly my Lego store wasn’t as packed as I thought it would be. I was originally planning on getting some Star Wars sets, however the two I wanted were really overpriced and not really worth it. However, the Marvel wave is fantastic! A lot of the Marvel sets are some of the best sets out of the whole August wave. The only one I ended up getting was the Milano which I my opinion is probably the best set out of all the August 1st wave. What’s actually interesting was when the Lego store opened and we all walked in, everyone was heading over to the Marvel section and the Milano was flying off the shelf. The actually only had 3 on the shelf so I quickly grabbed 1. While thinking about getting it, I asked the Lego worker and he said they only got 4 Milanos! That’s it 4 which is insane! So after hearing that, I knew I needed to get it. Hope everyone got what they wanted! 😊

That looks identical to the Lego store in Maryland with the cheesecake restaurant and amc theatres on the top floor 4:05 it even has the Eye of Sauron Lego set that costs 400 dollars and the Lego figure wearing the shark costume even the ninjago sets in the corner

The Excavator digs and moves material and can be used to lift things (though not as big/heavy objects) where as the Crane really only lifts things but for much larger objects. These City sets are very "model" like - I'm excited to build them!

My son and I love your channel!!!!! He is 12 and we build lego all the time. We just picked up the dark falcon yesterday. We spent 5 hrs building it. It was so much fun, we watched modern family while building and stayed up till midnight he had a blast!!!!! If you ever do go shopping and you’re in another country then I recommend you guys bringing a lot of Ziploc bags big ones. You open the Lego box all the Lego bags booklet stickers in a bag and then write down the name of the Lego set and throw the boxes out it will be very helpful.

On-line I bought the Dark Falcon for my son and the City Crane for myself. I got in just under the backorder for the Falcon and since I had a City set and over $200 I had all three of the Gift with Purchases (two Dreamzzz and the Mini Rocket Launcher). August 6th I'll pickup the JAWS set and the City Excavator and I think that will still have the same Gift with Purchases...

I went to my local lego store with the plan of just buying jedi bob. Got in the lego store and got swept up in fomo and picked up the desert skiff and the Ashoka set with Thrawn in it. I was given the dreamz poly bags even though I only but lego star wars sets.

I’m excited for the city and Star Wars sets. My local target put out some of the city and speed champions sets early and I bought those up and got the sets I wanted between the Lego website and my local Barnes and noble on day one.

I was able to get the sets I wanted, without the site being down (shockingly). I ordered the big Milano and The Dancing Groot sets as I love The Guardians of the Galaxy, and I had enough to get the Creator 3-in-1 Sea Animals set as I've had my eye on it since I love marine life.

I pre-ordered the Lego Ideas set Jaws 21350. Can't wait to build it :) The crane (setno. 60409) and the sport cars transportation (setno. 60408) sets look awesome! And the Ayton Senna McClaren racecar is great (setno. 10330)! The Animal Crossing sets...they look a bit like the new Fabuland sets :)

I'll be mid 50's this year and after almost 40 years "re-discovered" them - my son (who's an adult now) builds in much of his spare time - we shop together and build together - the only downside is what I spend on sets that I've had when I was a kid (vintage space isn't cheap).
