Ebro is so real in this interview! August has a lot to learn about backing down from 'beefing' w/ folks. Ebro is basically telling him, "you're the next Chris Brown" if you're not careful.
@theofficialvontae10 жыл бұрын
I respect everything that he said in this interview. To me, he spoke nothing out of line. The media tries to ask these questions that "the people want to know" when in all actuality, NO the people don't really care because they've gotten the answer already in previous interviews... certain people just want ratings and what to add the drama to a perfectly fine situation (interview). Just like Lil Kim did Rocsi on 106 (regarding Nicki Minaj) and how Chris Brown did Robin Roberts on GMA (regarding Rihanna). Put these damn media people in check!

Im from New Orleans , Augusts attitude comes from growing up in a place where you have to view the real world at a early age , he isnt done maturing and he knows that , but compared to many of these dudes .. hes very wise . So him having to care for himself and be real with himself , bullshit & lies will only rub him the wrong way . Hes gonna speak the truth to anyone , just like he would want anyone to be real with him .

The actual mistake was even admitting in a filmed interview that he didn't mess with Trey Songz. I don't think he realized all the blogs and interviewers were going to run with "2 RnB cats beefin". He is new to the game, though. A seasoned artist like Jay-Z or even Trey Songz himself, know not to put that out there. He was just being honest, but you can't be too honest with all these interviewers. 75% of them are just trying to get somebody to say something on their show that is controversial.
@renzobyd10 жыл бұрын
Damn this was a positive interview, I needed to hear that.

His interviews are always very enlightening. Everyone gets real and serious. I always gain a new, improved, as well as Confirmed perspective. I've realized just listening to him speak that we share a Very similar story. I'm definitely becoming a fan. His thought process is very intriguing, and he certainly has that "power." I wish him nothing but the best, and can only hope and pray that he doesn't let anything deter him from his path, nor distract him from his focus. It'd be too dope to have a conversation with him . . . And I only feel that way about maybe 3 other artists. I don't really get into the hype of celebrating celebrities, following their lives and putting them on pedestals. But I definitely will support Anyone humble, grateful, focused, determined, real, honest, and conscious. PLEASE, DON'T EVER CHANGE! Just continue to grow. Seek Peace. Find Happiness. Reap Love.

Honestly nobody would've cared if it was an established big time male artist but since he is a new artist it's a problem. All artist before doing interviews give them a list of what they are not to speak on or ask them some interviewers try to sneak it in or bypass it and this just happened to be his reaction to it. Now yes, he could've spoke to her in a nicer way, but it gets frustrating when ppl basically bypass what they have knowledge of not to go into it comes off disrespectful which is why he reacted the way he did. He will learn to be a lil calmer in certain situations. If that had been Chris brown, 50 cent etc I bet they would not have asked anything they were briefed on not to go into.

This was an excellent interview between Ebro & August Alsina. I like when August has interviews with Ebro because they always end up being genuine conversations. There is a good exchange of perspectives between Ebro and August. Plus as a bonus, August is able to gain a little positive knowledge in the end. Sway is another person who conducts good interviews. Being someone that has been an August fan for a few years, I am proud to see the additional mainstream success he has obtain.
