For not having anything to do, you sure were able to find and enjoy the ducks, geese, balloon, boat and beautiful sunset over the lake. I feel similarly to “just camping” being a bit boring. If I have my book with me I can enjoy the quiet and relaxing time for one night. I enjoyed my trip with you ;’-).

If some of those trees are white pine, 5 needles per section, collect the needles and make tea! It is coming out that it may help mitigate side effects of co vid jab!

We are headed out this weekend with the kids on our first bike camping trip. You video was inspirational . I have been going back and forward on bag set ups and gear for 4 . I got lots of ideas from you both. Great video. Don’t you love those pillows! I got them for the kids this year too. Your campsite next to the lake was awesome. Maybe to mellow lol! You guys are great! Nice meeting you! I’m a new sub for sure!

You guys ever considered the Mickelson trail in South Dakota for a bike packing journey? Looks like a nice ride.

We rode that trail years ago but stayed in hotels. We have thought about returning and camping it. Not sure when though. Thanks for the comment.

Maybe read a book or play cards? Sometimes people behave a little better in the woods than at a lake, so maybe a wooded campsite would be cleaner. Take a hammock to lie in?

Take a couple of paperback novels--or--comic books. And make a fire. Not with the books.
