Great video, one with nature. Camping I've done it a few times as a kid and loved it. as an adult not so much. Ive said it before you sir are a survivor curious if you were in the military?
@Locojoe2 ай бұрын
No never served. I wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes in the military lol. The videos may look otherwise but I really don't have any kind of outdoor or survival skills. It's is something I wish I knew more of and was more comfortable with though. Thanks Timothy.

The fake food didn't look to bad but that avocado,😳🤢 i don't know... I'd have to think about that lol. great video.
@Locojoe2 ай бұрын
Yeah the plant-based "roast beef" wasn't quite as bad as it looked. Rice cake with avocado and a sprinkling of black salt is probably my favorite breakfast.

Looks like a fun little outing! We don't have that many hiding spots out here, to be able to do that. Is it tough to find spots out of the way to camp at like this, down there? Thanks for bringing us along on your outing! Take care and have a great week you two!

I think I can somewhat imagine what your area would be like and think there would be many more stealth camping options here. I don't want to flat out trespass on an individual's personal property. Also don't want to infringe on a homeless persons territory. So far it's been the edge of a city park and sports complex, a corporation's vacant property and now the railroad easement. Thanks and the best of weeks to you!

Thanks Randy! Loved the video and especially the music. Canned “meat” is almost always a bit suspect. 😀

Nice to see someone enjoying a bike and the outdoors. Is that a front derailer on your bike....
@Locojoe2 ай бұрын
No front derailleur on this bike. Just a single up front. Thanks for watching!

I really like your videos! This is one of my favorites! I have some projects to finish here at home... getting inspired by you! Very good! Ráucio (Brazil)

Thank you I appreciate it! I’d like to do more bike camping, maybe next year. Good luck with your projects.

Well done Randy! I've been meaning to do some bike camping myself but it just hasn't happened 😕...I might try a campgrounds near home just to break the ice. I'm probably over thinking it. 🍻
@Locojoe2 ай бұрын
Thanks! I'm not much of a camper and have done very little on or off the bike. Bike camping is something I want to do but everytime I do it and struggle with sleeping or whatever, I think "why am I doing this?" Yeah for a first bike camping trip I'd suggest going somewhere legal so being stealthy is one less thing to worry about.

"If there is such a thing anymore"... Hadn't occurred to me but you nailed it.

Yeah it just hit me as I said it. Thanks for watching.

This video is an inspiration to me. I am planning on bike camping overnight, but so far, only in my head. You show how to do an overnight camping with minimal packing, minimal equipment, so when I'm finally ready to try, I will remember your video. Thanks!

Makes me happy to be an inspiration. Thanks! Bike camping (or any camping) is something I'd like to get more comfortable with. It's funny though as I lie awake not being able to sleep for whatever reason I say I'm never going to do this again but soon as I get home I want to go back out lol. Just keep planning in your head and go when you feel the time is right.

Rice cakes w/avocado. That's HARD CORE Randy. The meat surprize fake food looked dangerous. Your a brave man, there, partner.
@Locojoe2 ай бұрын
Yeah I love rice cakes and avocado. Especially with a bit of salt and/or hot sauce. And to quote @ChuckHarris-go5nz "Canned “meat” is almost always a bit suspect. "

Cool. I think the train passing through may have driven me home to bed.
@Locojoe2 ай бұрын
Train caught me by surprise. I knew the track was still in service but didn't think it seen much activity especially in middle of the night. The mosquitos did about send me home though lol. Thanks for watching Josh.
@mechatakoyakisan2 ай бұрын
I can probably handle the noise. Mosquitoes, not so much.
@Locojoe2 ай бұрын
I got so frustrated with the mosquitos for a bit that I was ready to abandoned everything and ride home in the dark. I couldn't tell if they were in or outside the hammock. Was driving me nuts. Later determined none were inside and eventually the ones circling outside went away as it got later. Thanks for watching!

I enjoyed the video; except parts ruined with music. I would appreciate similar but longer and musicless videos.
