It's ridiculous how every member of this band has so much talent. Think of all the writing, the creative ideas, the strength, the endurance, the practice, etc. that goes into these songs. The instrumentals and vocals are so complex, yet so beautiful. It's hard for me to believe that humans can do this. Definitely my favorite band.

The endurance alone is decades and decades of conditioning one’s body to just be physically capable of executing this. I love that you included that observation as I’m doubtful of the fact that most people even recognize the physical exertion one must be capable of to play this, and do so with such force and extended movements like he is in this video. The talent of having such complex conceptual ideation and transforming them into the amazing artistic creation like this is alone mind boggling. But that alone isn’t enough - the physical shape one must be in to take that idea and bring it into reality is insane.

@gilbert4394 Жыл бұрын
@@Itskahuny well put. One thing I’ve always appreciated about ABR composition is that it’s technically insane (and hard to play), but yet it still sounds amazing. I think a lot of bands get caught up in either one camp or the other; being technical and impressive, or making simplistic music that is listenable. I think ABR balances those aspects of music production perfectly.

I grew up relatively poor, so I couldn't afford a drum kit but I had a friend who had one and I would practice as much as I could at his house or at my local church after they were done with their music. I'm 32 now with a wife and kid, and I have finally been able to buy my own kit. I'll never be as good as you, but I hope to learn more and most importantly inspire my son to pick up the drums and enjoy it as much as I have.
