Lovely video, thank you! I have just planted out more trees for shade here in Australia, we're trying to hide from the intense sun 😊 I hope you show some snow in winter if you get it. . . just so I can vicariously feel cool.

Thanks for another great video. Good to see you have been getting the ragwort under control. It is officially against the law to allow it to grow on land in Ireland and gets pulled out by the roots whenever it pops up around here as we are surrounded by grazing land. It is said to be avoided by animals naturally but if it gets mixed in with silage they can eat it without knowing about it which is one reason letting it grow is legally prohibited. You might have a bit of a job trying to get it out next year when it shoot up again from the roots as it is tough enough to get out when the plants are young. Happy gardening!

I have to admit the horse, sheep and cattle lover in me heaved a sigh of relief! I know you're not in Aus but here it's a declared weed that you are obligated to remove asap so I couldn't make myself see it as a 'pretty flower' even in a totally different environment! lol (NB Not meant a criticism, just as an observation on how different plants become perceived to us based on different associations!)

Indeed and its good to get other interpretations and views. Every plant has a place and should be afforded a place, with the right conditions to keep everyone safe. Happy Gardening! Lee

Hello Lee, I wonder if you could give me some advice as to how to get rid of bindweed in the lawn. I've used a gel weedkiller in the flower beds and did experiment with using it on patches in the lawn. It obviously works, but I now have some patches of lawn missing!! Unfortunately it is in most of the lawn so how can I get rid of it without killing all the grass too? Thank you
@Gardenninja3 жыл бұрын
Hi Elizabeth, I don't really use weed killer unless I can absolutely help it. 99% of the time you can. This guide should help you! I'd use a hori hori and get that stuff out for good! kzbin.info/www/bejne/aoisdYZ5f5mibK8 or my detailed article all about weeds here. Happy weeding!
