Jhin is always above average, often strong. He has good utility for ADC AND also people underestimate his damage, ofc he doesn't have DPS like Ez, but he has perfect execute, as long as your teammates damage them, you can just crit 1000+ against tanks

You should mention that there are champions like Brair or Mundo who are hard to counter in low mmr and they have high winrate and Are OP, but everyone knows what to do against them in high MMR so they just fall of due to being significantly weaker. It doesn't exactly mean they are much more fun to play, just that they are strong against weaker players. It's the same thing with Kaisa when her pickrate in High MMR is bigger than in low MMR is not because "she's not fun to play and everyone is picking her for her power" but because people in silver are just unable to play her as her skillset heavily relies on kiting and dodging, which is just not what avarage silver player does reliably.

I remember riot once saying that when champions like Ashe and Jhin are the best ADCs it’s because the adc role is weak and they bring a lot of utility and can still contribute unlike other ADCs. I guess they forgot that because people aren’t used to ADCs being the same level as them when they are in solo lanes and they can’t just one shot them while missing all their skill shots.

You can say that, but that statement was made before the landscape shifted and 3 ADCs every game became the norm for pro play. Clearly the role as a whole is egregiously overpowered and Riot shouldn't have listened to any of the ADC streamers, because they all rotted their brains watching 14.1 assassin montages on repeat all the way into June. Azzapp is another streamer who's grinding the complaining meta and consistently calling out "problems" and making completely free statements on what the solution should be, knowing full well his audience is too brain rotted to call him out on the fact that he's grossly oversimplifying pretty much every single issue he ever brings up and grossly oversimplifying the solutions to those problems to make himself appear smarter than he actually is.

@@SleepyFen the reason adc is in every lane is because people copy pro and in pro fated ashes was the wave and AD assissins where seen as unviable. Adc win rates in solo lanes in solo queue was never an issue. People just annoyed they couldn’t just face roll an adc because they were the same level. They already nerfed Ashe. Next they will nerf Jhin and we will be right back to when even solo laners like the baus is saying man adc is so weak. They need to give adc the same levels as solo laners and only punish support exp. If not then marksmen will always feel weak bot when balanced mid and op mid when balanced bot

@@SirBackPack solution doesnt actually make sense. marksmen are gold scalers, not level scalers. the reason why they were in mid is because roaming was weaker than staying in the lane and the lane itself became safer due to map changes.

@@sundanser being a gold scaler doesn’t mean they don’t scale off of exp. Tell me this. Why was it during that same time when adc was in every role that in the bot lane they still under performed mages?

@@SirBackPack yeah they scale off of xp because levels give stats, but mages are specifically levels scalers because their main tools are spells and every point makes a significant difference. mages are played bot only for specific strategies or combo with supports that usually come down to lane control (extremely fast turret taking with ziggs, perma sustain and push lane from safety with something like seraphine etc) which is also inflated due to low pick rate. if mages actually were this be all end all in bot youd see it every single game. its not.

Disagree, Jhin plus any poke champ is just an uninteractive lane, can’t touch them and u r perma rooted and chunked. They should nerf his w root imo it’s too easy to just perma combo his W or W + E

@@jakebustillos9 his W comes out so slow that its basically a whiff most of the time if jhin goes for it randomly, its mainly used to extend existing cc from teammates which tbh its on you if you get hit by his sp's cc in the first place

@@user-vw2lr7ig8xthe hitbox on the W is very wonky though because of the map tilt offset. Sometimes you get hit by it when it seems like you’re out of its range.

i think a cool way to "nerf" jhin can be nerfing the W root but buffing the E a bit has rn the E is more of a W enabler/zone tool not a damage tool and rarely worth the wave clear having the E activate a bit faster (say u walk right over it, most champs can get out of it in time to not take damage without even having speed or dash)
