Pls do breakdown videos like this on the statistics section like sampling, scatter plots, standard of deviation etc.... since I’ve never taken statistics in high school. I am an upcoming senior and I want an 800 on the SAT maths section and I even want an 800 on the maths level 2 subject test and last thing I want is to have a downfall. For the second example, if they asked the question backwards and instead asked what percent less than calcium is the unknown element, how would I solve it? I remember a similar question on one of the SATs

If the asked for a percent less than the number. For example 20 percent less than 75. I would find 20 percent of 75 than subtract that amount from 75. That’s just how I do it.

I got a question, why is it that you multiply the population by. 0.2 to get 20% of the population? instead of dividing population by 0.2? Or am i missing something here And if you dont mind me asking, is there any more of these types of questions i can do for practice somewhere?

What you have to understand is that in order for you to find a PERCENT of ANYTHING, you have to multiply by the decimal version of the percent. finding 20% -> multiply by the decimal version (0.2) 45% --> 0.45 73% --> 0.73 138% --> 1.38 You can find more practices like these at the SAT Math Accelerator (link inside the descriptions)
