Oathbringer is my least favorite so far too. Kind of took the steam out of my series momentum and I still haven’t continued. I loved When the Moon Hatched but totally get that it’s a very polarizing writing style. I’m surprised the descriptiveness didn’t bug me the way it usually does 😂

yeah, i feel like it broke my momentum as well lol idk why the writing style in WTMH in particular bothered me so much because I've read SO many others like it but I was just not having it lol

rhythm of war is my least favorite stormlight it was a real slog to get thorugh

honestly, i'm curious to see if i feel the same! i was deep in pandemic depression + seasonal depression + regular depression when i read it the first time and it was SUCH a slog, so i want to see if that was just true for me then or will always be true for me haha
