If it makes it easier for you, the narrator of the audiobook of Pachinko is lovely ! So I ended up doing immersive reading, it made the book less daunting since the pacing is quite slow.

I had Daughter of the Forest on my TBR for two years now. It is one of my very few 5 stars prediction which Is why I can't pick it up 🙃

I liked The Familiar but i can see why a lot of people were mixed on it. I'll be curious to see what you think.
