Thanks for the video. I have the same problem with my strike plate, minute, but just enough.

I used my dremel to grind the striker plate down just enough so that the bolt would lock without me having to push on the door. Works perfect now!

Home Depot sells this lock without the gateway connect. I need a lock for my deadbolt that I can control with my phone when I am inside the house or at my doorstep, not far away. Would this be a good choice for me?

I don't have any hubs like alexa in my home. Will bluetooth or my google/android phone be enough?

@@Grace-or1ex it would work for your phone without a hub, but Bluetooth range is limited so I don't know if it work from the other end of the house or not. If you got a voice assistant in the future I believe you could order the connect separately so that you could control the lock with your voice assistant if you decided you want to.
