August Technique of the Month | Deng Choi - Nailing Hook Punch | Chow Gar Southern Praying Mantis

This months technique is ‘Deng Choi’ translated as Nailing Hook Punch. This technique requires the use of the use of the waist, bridge (forearm), wrist and phoenix eye fist.
Deng choi can be used as a single or double hand technique. The bridge is used to attack or block the opponents arm and the Phoenix eye attacks the temple, eye, or neck areas.
