I was honored to play in the orchestra for this wonderful production. It was a little crazy because the 20-piece orchestra actually played out in the building's loading dock, since the orchestra pit was used for special effects as the people dropped off the ship and into the sea.

This is a great production. I really adore this Harold Bride. He is perfect for this role.

This is probably the best quality full production of this online, the singing, acting and costumes/props are all excellent.

Sometimes a broken down car is a good thing. Be thankful it wasn't in working order. It made you so much richer.

The third class singing about their hopes for America really hurts in this one. Almost all of them wouldn't survive the shipwreck.

17:19 - 17:26 He says that now, but later: Wife (runs up to him with newspaper): Honey, read this! It's about the Titanic! Guy (sitting in living room chair depressed): Dear, I already told you. I missed the ship because my stupid car broke down. I didn't mean to become a laughing stalk. Wife: What? No, read what it says (pushes the paper right in her husband's face). (Guy takes the newspaper and begins to read. His eyes widen and his mouth drops in disbelief.) Guy (looks over to his wife): Oh my God! If I had gotten on that ship, I might have- (gets up and pulls his wife into a tight embrace.) Wife (weeping tears of relief): Oh honey! Guy (weeping): I'll never complain about car trouble ever again!

Newspapers at the time did not report any deaths-- some even said the Titanic didn't sink, but was being towed by the Carpathia. Of course, these were lies created to avoid panic. So, if anything, the man in that scene would have complained about being late to New York after reading the papers. Ha!

I like this production but there can’t have been any English ppl in the cast or they wouldn’t have got away with pronouncing NOTTINGHAMSHIRE the way they did (50:27) LOL 😂 👍🏻
