I miss you, Aunt Ann. You were the reason I wanted to dance and be in the performing arts in the first place. And when I do go back to dance I will contribute that dance to you. I love you.

Truly a trip down memory lane of the extremely talented Ann. But also the unbelievable mentor she was who took time out of her busy schedule to educate young artists. She was a gift and we were the lucky ones to get to call her a teacher, friend and mentor. Wow, so well done. Thank you!

She was a master of her craft. She was an elegant, generous and kind sweet soul. She was super funny, super loving of all those around her and regardless of her status in life was definitely a loving and down to earth member of our family. Rest in peace sweet sister!

She was stunningly beautiful, and incredibly talented. She made me proud to be a Seattleite, to know that we have incredibly talented people like her in other areas of show biz here in our neck of the woods is pretty awesome.

If you really are her brother I want you to know that your sister inspired me to stretch beyond what I thought were my abilities in dance and to reach for more. I didn't know her and was never in the same room with her except once as she performed in Dancin' but I followed her lead in the way she danced and performed and tried to emulate what I saw. She impacted a lot of people and inspired many more, including this once gawky girl in Mobile, AL, in the late 70's with only mediocre dance talent but a love of dancing. Who among us can say "my sister inspired people around the world"? That's something, no?

I had the extraordinary privilege of dancing along side Ann Reinking back in 1980 on a CBC television special along with a remarkable cast of Canadian dancers. She was remarkable...an inspiration beyond words.

Amazing dancer and woman. She was my Cassie in A Chorus Line in 1976. I went to see her at the stage door. I'll never forget it...

I saw Ann in "Chicago," my favorite Broadway show of all time, in 1996. Then in 2003 or 2004, I met Ann Reinking by happenstance in the audience at the Algonquin Club in New York City, and she was lovely. I also attended the final show of the Broadway Theater Project in Tampa, Florida, one summer in the mid-2000s, and Ben Vereen was the featured performer. Thank you, Ann, for such wonderful memories.

WOW!!!! What a truly comprehensive portrait of the impact Ann had on her student's lives. You captured her essence and her legacy in a way no one else has before. Thank you for letting me be a part of this, and thank you for creating a work of art worthy of the subject matter. Annie would be beaming with pride

She inspired me to go into jazz/modern/freestyle dance from ballet because I wanted to be able to dance like her. I first saw her in person when she was on tour in the late 70's in "Dancin" and was blown away. I'd like to say I was able to reach my dream of being able to dance like her but I didn't make it. Still, she was a true inspiration for those of us who love to dance (not that I can due to skeletal issues now). She, behind Gwen Verdon, was THE ultimate Fosse dancer, too. She and Gwen seemed to embody his vision for dance. Amazing women, those two.
