was curious so i checked Wikipedia: A hoedown is a type of American folk dance or square dance in duple meter, and also the musical form associated with it.

We had a hoedown when my cousin and I got married. There were two separate weddings, we married different people, stop assuming things.😂

I solemnly swear-- any performance from Augustin -- I've GOT to see. This is unbelievable and unusual 😳 🎉

Augustin, you have put in so much hard work, so so so much, and you know so much. God looks at you with a great smile and He is the only one who truly knows your beautiful soul, but sometimes us musicians and listeners can just feel it through your playing. You are a huge inspiration to so many people Christ knows. Thank you so much for playing the violin, you’ve helped a lot of people (me personally too). With all the pieces you play, I hope you continue to enjoy playing your violin, sometimes it can be a lot, but your sound is so beautiful, thank you❤️

This version is by Copland himself!
@leandroperalta14893 ай бұрын
@@AugustinHadelichViolin no way ! Amazing ! Did he arrange the other movements from the Rodeo suite ? Their effectiveness to me seems to rely much more on orchestral masses and timbre than this one so I would doubt it, but I would be curious to see how he might’ve overcome the challenge, if arrange them he did.
@leandroperalta14893 ай бұрын
I knew and loved the original from the Rodeo suite, so this is a great discovery, thank you ! I would love to arrange it for cello.
