The most amazing violinist...and I'm old enough to heard and seen several of the greats. Much of his genius is his tremendous bow control, but it's what's in his soul that really counts. Bravo!!

Absolutely! Apart from technical perfection in playing what i also liked most is the tonal quality and emotion. Violin tone is so pure and sweet. Not heard even a single scratch in sound in any of his videos

Brilliant. The bass line is so clean and so rhythmic while the melody on top is just angelic. One of the most brilliant performances I have heard of this piece! Amazing Maestro! ❤️

Wonderful. This piece is so much more difficult than it sounds and it's always a pleasure to hear it from a great violinist.

I never knew violin can sound so very intimate, nuanced and sublimely beautiful, even though I am listening through a pair of $15 ear phones. It’s the artistry of Mr. Hadelich and the heavenly gift in J.S. Bach at their best. Plus, the praise must go to the maker of this perfect-sounding instrument ! What a treat to our souls ! Thank God we still have opportunity to enjoy such music !

Devine! Both, the music and your playing! 💕💕💕 And the whole violin section enjoys listening with their eyes closed.

l was there in the 7th row .. the Berg just wiped one out, in its beauty and sadness, and then this encore ! .. l remember being so thankful that it was long, not wanting it to end .. 🌹 Thank you for posting this, may have listened to it over 30 times today already ..✨✨ .. thinking of Bach’s faith and musical language; my good father now in heaven; and the sadness of the Israelis and Gazans .. Thank you, Augustin, and thank you, Wiener Philharmoniker, for letting us hear him, and you (with Nelsons, in the Berg and the Mahler) ..✨💫

Amazing! What makes it especially remarkable is that in a work like this there's no place to hide. The simplicity of a largo movement on a solo violin is profound and making it so intimate to a large spellbound audience is, for me, an ultimate artistic accomplishment.

I heard James Ehnes play this as his encore in Raleigh a few months ago after playing the Beethoven Violin concerto and it was a real treat. Augustin plays it just as beautifully. I’m thinking about getting tickets to see him in Raleigh next year but I don’t like the Prokofiev :(
