It actually is illegal in many cases. It's child labor, and while there are exceptions regarding child labor, in most jurisdictions there are pretty strict rules about it. The problem is that nobody is really enforcing it, because it arguably is in a legal grey area, there aren't any specific regulations about social media, and therefor also not any protocols for law enforcement to follow. Law enforcement not doing anything certainly does not imply it is legal though.

I personally do have problems with both family channels and insanely rich people. First are exploiting their children’s privacy for money and second are exploiting technically everyone for their own selfishness and greed.
