What’s beginning to really frustrate me about DharDhar Bink’s videos is how he’s so bankrupt of ideas he either gets “inspired” by other media (aka just makes his own “realistic” version-even downright plagiarizes at points) or tries to be hip with the kids on new trends (aside from the TikTok propaganda ones he recently uploaded a video on his second channel about iPad kids that is so awful it’s painful). Somehow, recycling his older content feels less insulting than whatever he does now. Knowing what the drama a year ago exposed makes it even worse.

From what I understand, many worked with Dhar since the beginning were promised a raise when he got big (they already weren’t being paid much), which never happened. It’s not easy for independent actors getting their foot in the door so any opportunity was better than none, and risking their jobs to call out Dhar wasn’t an option, despite how corporatized the channel became. It came to a boil when they tried to confront him only for him to never show up. He also gave them a lot of stressful work hours due to his channel becoming a content farm. TLDR; Dhar is a god awful boss who took his employees for granted, overworking and underpaying them despite promising to up wages and those actors struggling to find work elsewhere.

How to fix this video, from someone with 0 storytelling experience: 1. Throw the whole robbery part of the video at the start to the middle. Have this be a falling out moment between the kids and the coach, and have the kids rethink their actions with the reason being that they've already built a bond the coach, and they feel guilty for breaking that, and then have some search for a way to make it right. I think a good way for this would be to make the coach host some kind of charity such as a food drive, where the kids can just volunteer. 2. Heavily expand the time-frame in which the video takes place. Stretching it over a few months will allow for greater believability in the bond between the coach and the kids. 3. Just make it so the kids were using a worn down half deflated soccer ball with goals made out of some soda bottles or trash bags on the floor, this would allow the coach to seeing talent in the kids more believable. Upon seeing this the coach can offer to give the boys his soccer ball, feeling as if it serves no purpose anymore as his position as coach is gone. 3. Remove the whole food bribe thing it's stupid and serves 0 purpose. Instead have the kids feels grateful for the coach giving them the ball and having them ask the coach to join in on their game. Through this process the kids can see the coach is experienced and ask how he got to be that way. The coach can then open up about being a soccer coach and the kids can ask him if they can teach them a thing or two. This can Jumpstart their relationship in an actual way that makes sense. 4. After a few weeks of playing and training the coach can ask them about the tournament after seeing how far they've come, saying sign-ups end within a week or two and that it would be his dream to have a team in the tournament after what happened with his coaching position. After the kids agree you can include the falling out scene mentioned in number 1, with the coach saying he still believes in the kids after they open up about their homeless situation more. This is when the coach can introduce the food drive and even feed the kids for helping out and offering them a second chance. 5. The whole court thing can be made slightly better by the coach telling the judge that the kids have done charity work as a way to prove they can change (preferably this being the reason why they missed court) and even offer more charity work being their punishment. (This still isn't that realistic but it's a lot better than some random dude coming in and saying to delay the sentencing) 6. Actually improve the tournament and add more teams and make it an underdog story. These were always a fun watch in sports movies and the showdown against the coach's former team in the finals would make for a great finale. 7. Have the coach get the kids enrolled back in school and in their soccer program. Make him strike a deal with the guy who offered him his position back (just make this dude a school admin) where he'll take his spot back if they allow his team to join the school team as well. This could lead to the kids being successful in soccer in school than earning scholarships from that, making the whole "oh we got a bunch of sponsors and money" thing a lot more believable.
