It's cheaper, tastier, probably more healthy, and, in my own informed opinion, WAY safer than eating out at restaurants 😊 Actual reply: That's being way over paranoid. I can 100% guarantee that the food I prepare and serve to my family, friends, and/or guests is likely not only safer to consume than what restaurants serve to you, but 9/10 my meals are also much more than likely to have been prepared from scratch using fresh ingredients vs using cheap, a lot of times out of expiration, and suss canned food, frozen food, and/or pre-prepared. My meals are definitely more likely to taste way better and be way healthier. I worked in the restaurant industry for 15 years, so I know exactly what goes on behind the scenes of your "grade A" restaurants. I can assure you that if you can tolerate and enjoy eating out at restaurants like sonic, McDonald's, Olive Garden, Waffle House, Sushi restaurants, Pizza joints, and even higher class restaurants (because the vast majority practice the same bad and nasty habits that are swept under the rug since they're busy, trying to save money, not held to "hospital" cleanliness standards, and either just forget things, intentionally ignore sanitary issues, or are simply incompetent), then you'll be fine at your buddy John Doe's place for beer and hotdogs and would honestly be safer eating there vs a restaurant. Restaurant employees very often forget to switch to clean gloves as they prepare various different food items and dishes, they are more than likely just rinsing their hands with water quickly vs washing with soap and water during and after each preparation or cleaning, they are more than likely reusing dirty towels over and over again to clean their station/utensils/hands, they are more than likely working when sick to avoid short paychecks, and they are more than likely working with dirty kitchen utensils since it can be hard for a lot of places to wash them after each use, so they just wipe it off with a (very likely) dirty hand towel or dip it in unclean water systems/buckets without refilling the water regularly and these items usually haven't been properly cleaned and/or sanitized in months. On top of all that (and that's just a very small list of SOME of the unsanitary behaviors and practices: there are a butt ton more), the vast majority of restaurants are more likely to be affected by insect and rodent infestations, are more likely reusing dirty old water to pretty much just smear bacteria around the floors as the mop or on the tables as they wipe away the visible debris, leaving God knows what all over the tables and chairs thanks to dirty water and dirty rags. They are likely not cleaning restrooms appropriately or at timely intervals. They are likely serving past expiration food items (either intentionally to save money and avoid waste or out of sheer negligence and ignorance). They are likely reusing meat knives to save time and are constantly cross contaminating food items, which increases your risk of food borne illnesses. And lastly (well, lastly here, there are MANY more than I've personally listed), many restaurants seem to struggle with food storage safety practices and a lot of the places I've worked at tend to either use dangerously wrong temperatures, leave quick expiring food items out in the open before finally placing them in refrigeration units, and tend to store food items that shouldn't be anywhere near each other right next to each other (example: storing raw hamburger meat right next to or in the same vicinity of foods like lettuce or cheese), which puts employees and customers at risk of food borne illnesses after the 2 items have come into contact with each other, after an employee grabs raw meat and a non-meat food at the same time without any sanitary steps in between, when an employee touches/prepares refrigerated raw meat (with or without gloves, doesn't matter) only to scratch their face with their now dirty hand, or as customers eat the now contaminated meal thinking that restaurants would surely follow all the strict food safety and sanitary guidelines/regulations set in place by DHEC when in reality its not as strict as people think, leading to a false security in restaurant food handling which can result in illnesses. So: lesson learned. Eat at other peoples houses vs at pricey, nasty, unhealthy restaurants.

When I was a kid, I left a Taco Bell gordita crunch in my microwave for 3 days on accident. I opened up the microwave and it was still in there so I heated it up and, honestly, it tasted the same as a fresh one. If I did it again though, I would have ended up as this guy. I've seen the full horror of this catastrophe elsewhere, but I love the commentary on this one. I have been following this fascinating character for quite some time. Cobes has put out some of the internet's greatest cooking videos, but there is a lot more to him. He has been putting his life out there for all to see for many years, and it is the story of a slow, painful decline. It is sad to see clips of his earliest videos, when he seemed cheerful and had some vitality and charisma, and compare them to the human wreck we see now. Lately, the ongoing saga has been his attempts at home-made booze that would put prison pruno to shame. Anyone who got through this video with stomach contents intact should check out his recent "mead" disasters. Cobes must have an iron stomach. His concoctions would send any normal person to the emergency room.

All wrapped into a Frankenstein monstrosity he had to hold together with a dozen toothpicks? Makes my asshole pucker, just thinking about it. Stomach even gurgled, out of reflex. I can imagine him spending the rest of the day making his toilet cry. ....Honestly, I think he was too high to even notice the cockroaches when he finally ate it the next day. Being so stoned was probably the reason why he passed out after cooking it, the night before. ......He definitely got more "protein" out of it than he bargained for.
