It's so crazy to me that I get she feels like she is an beginner or armature in the business when I've seen many of her movies. When I say it hasn't been 1 bad or lack luster performance, I mean that. From her movies on Lifetime, The Clark Sisters, Birth of a Nation, Lovecraft Country, Quantico, Beale Street, I mean this woman has been around. Ms. Aunjanue if you can see this, we've been knew and seen your gift to the world. It's nice that the world see's it but we were talking about you like this during The Clark Sisters and Abducted. This will have to be another topic but I hate us as black people wait until the popular start to celebrate us then we ride behind it. They did the same with Lupita, "THEY" told us she was beautiful and we ran with it. She is a beauty because our people are beautiful PERIOD, Aunjanue you are a star and legendary because we say you are and you deserve to be there with the Viola's, Will's, Vivica's and Jamie's.

Aunjanue Ellis is a treasure. I love her work. She's been in some of my favorite films and shows. I'm glad that she's finally getting the acknowledgement and praise that she deserves. I hope that she's able to get her project made. And I like the way she explained the cancellation of "Love Craft Country" - you definitely need people who are as courageous and visionary as you are to push forward great work. HBO isn't that group for that. I was surprised that they picked up that show in the first place. I think that Misha's script scared them. I saw the revised US map that she tweeted after the show's cancellation. It apparently represented what the new storyline was going to be about. HBO was probably worried about how their white audience would react to whatever Misha was cooking up for the next season - since the white folks on the map were categorized as zombies, and they were all sectioned off in one region. I think that she has a deal with one of the streaming services. Hopefully, she's able to take her idea over to that platform. I would love to see it.
