Kit Walker there’s a specially designed tow vehicle, which is to help if the bus gets stuck somehow. The track won’t be broken midway, since regular checks and maintenance occur.

MrUpsidown essentially they wanted a train or tram system, but opted for a cheaper system that resembled a train. If they built a dedicated roadway instead, it would defeat the idea of having a mass transit option at that time. Nowadays a dedicated roadway would be better because it’s far cheaper

@@MrUpsidown I think the Reason could be the Time. It's an Express Vehicle, so it's faster then usual, Having own Roads for this help in Citys where you often have Traffic Jams in the Rush Hours. Tigra Watanabe in theory emergency vehicles could use them, but there’s no point, as there’d be a hospital close to where the patient needs to be. Using the o-Bahn would only necessary if there was only one or two hospitals in all of adelaide metropolitan area, but that’s not the case.

Building a railway would cost more.... Like tracks and ballast and concrete rails alone would cost a lot. Plus the entire trainset or even a coach would be more expensive than that of a bus. And not to forget the maintenance cost

マジレスするとガイドに常に接触してるローラー的なのでステアリングが自動で決まってるので、無理やり切れないはずだが、時速100キロ近いバスのステアリングを支える部品を破壊する程の力を運転手が出せれば切れる可能性はある。 多分ハンドルが先に壊れるがローラーとステアリングを繋ぐ部品以外がめちゃくそ頑丈で、運転手が怪力の持ち主で部品ぶっ壊しておもっきし切った場合は、脱線してそれなりの大惨事。

Very fancy system, ofcource an expensive system, a separate track system for city bus? which goes from isolated places to reach other parts of the city? carries less people than Metro, quite impractical for big cities, Yes it can be an alternative system for metro system in smaller cities, but it will only work in cities with less population, wide land space, and ofcource with big mucipal budget.

Can just leave its dedicated highway and drive anywhere and has less congestion than a shared road and is more safe as it's on guide rails and not driven by the driver. It's a very clever idea
