So this frame seems to not have many digital frame features that I expect would be standard for the last 5 years. It doesn't seem to have any ambient light sensing or color correction which should be a show stopper for most people. A nest hub has amazing ambient light detection and is basically the same size. why wouldn't you just mute the mic on a nest hub instead of this? This photo frame would be horrible for me outside the peak light hours. How is it for you?

Thanks for your comment. This review was done a few years ago, so Aura may have updated its product line. Its worked well for us and provided more functionality than some of the basic digital photo frames we had before it. If you know what you want and this frame doesn't offer it, then definitely buy something else!

We have same model. Is there an install kit to mount on a wall?

I just installed mine. However, my video photos have no sound. However, sound is set up to the fullest. Any advice you could give me would be appreciated. I don't understand on why I don't have sound.

Wish I could help, but I never used sound on mine. I'd recommend contacting the manufacturer.

Can the pictures viewed on the Aura Frame be updated with writing on the pictures, name, date, etc.???

On the one I have, you can’t add text to the pictures. Is that what you mean? I know they’ve come out with newer frames since I made this video.

@@CookScrapCraft Could you please guide me with details on how to add text to the single picture? Some of our grandchildren look alike and we would want to verify their names and year on each picture so that whoever would inherit this Aura Frame in the future would have correct names.

How do you get rid of black bars on sides of pics(IOS)? I chg to filled but they are still black bars??
