Hi. I love your channel. Im a mother of an incoming senior HS. She already told me that she really wants to take up Med. Im a little bit disappointed as I know the facts and realities of becoming a doctor. I tried to discourage her, but she's really decided. Im a single mom and I was hoping that she will be able to help me financially after taking up architecture. That was supposed to be the plan!haha Apparently, that's not what she likes. She's a fan of Grey's Anatomy. She likes reading medical books as well. She's keen on learning about science specifically bio. So I guess, this is really her path. this is a year late, but yes. usually people who are of average intelligence, but memorize very well, will do much better in med school than very intelligent people who don’t study or memorize well. in med school, the amount of content you have to memorize is otherworldly.

Hi ate Aura! I've never been this sure on what profession i will take in college. Yung pagiging doctor talaga is what I really enjoy specially because continuous yung learning AAAAAND I LOVE LEARNING! (This is what I love about myself ate, kahit di ko interest yung isang bagay, once na tinuruan ako, willing ako matuto ng bago. For some reasons, di ako nagsasawa sa school kasi gustong gusto ko na napapagod pero atleast may natutunan and may purpose.) I love everything abt being a doctor. I'm aware po sa kung gaano ka hirap yung process ng pagiging doctor so I really consider every choices that i will make from junior, senior highschool, pre med and college beneficial when I get into med school (in the future). I'm an incoming Grade 10 student and super goal-driven po. Once that I got a vision of my self working in this field po, I researched everything related sa kung gaano kahirap, kagastos and kapagod yung pagiging doctor. I watched na rin po pala yung vid about "things to consider to not enter med school" something abt that. I'm so practical sa mga bagay and I think yun yung edge ko when making decisions. Ahm, there are four academic strands po, STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathemathics), ABM ( Accountancy Business Management), HUMSS (Humanities and Social Science), GAS ( General Academic Strand). Then mayroon rin pong focus sa sports, pero hindi ko po siya masyadong alam. Ahm, I'm studying po in UST right now and under GAS, the school offers HA ( Health Allied) & MAD ( Music, Arts & Design) and each focuses po honing our skills po because of the subjects, performance tasks and school works. The 2 years in SHS help us to be prepare and to decide what course we would like to take in college. Plus, the strand we are in now should be inlined with our preferred college course po. I hope I lightened you up ate!! Anyway, your videos are so helpful because as I said before, Medicine is my chosen path. You inspire me more po to pursue med. I hope to see you soon!!❤️❤️

Grade 10 here! Still trkn between what shs strand I'll choose, stem or humms are my choices... may conflict ba na mangyayari if ever I want to be a doctor then I get humms, pasok naman sa humms ang psychology but for my pre med, I'm thinking about bs biology or psychology....mamaya di ako tanggapin sa ibang school dahil sa strand ko huhu. I want to take medicine because of influence of kdrama and once a doctor told me that there are not many doctors in the Philippines especially now that there are a lot of easy (not that easy) money works. And when I always watch documentaries and news I saw how hard it is that there are not really much doctors like now there is a pandemic in the world, a lot of people in the world is dying.
