My cat has a second aural hematoma. He had surgery for the first, but 2 days after the stitches were removed, he got another aural hematoma. His vet wants to do another surgery again tomorrow, so he's scheduled for that. We think it's caused by an allergy to something, but I have no idea to what. Is the second surgery a good idea?

We did not do the surgery yet. We had it drained, and they injected it with a steroid. It's filling back up again, though. I'm not sure what to do. Should we do the surgery? I've seen so much conflicting advice, even among veterinarians.
