I've never played Auric level missions, let alone Maelstrom but the game get's a lot more fun when you play in missions that put the pressure on you, when you're riding the edge or dealing with a hoard, it's so much more more fun. For example, play a mission that makes everything super dark on at least Malice difficulty, it ups the stress factor and forces you to work together :p but It's a lot of fun.

Ok. I’m 4 min and I have to pause to say this; thank you. This is some real fucking gameplay. My daughter is in the hos😢getting heart surgery and I am aaay from my pc. I am currently trying to find motivation. To keep playing video games and trying to predict your next moves is enticing me in a way no other game has. You are truly skilled, and you are inspiring me to be even better at this game. I pass auric missions no isssue, but watching you clutch and how you move makes me want to be better at this game so I can support my teammates better. I know it may seem faint praise, but keep doing what you are doing. You inspired me to be better; imagine what you are doing to others who do not vocalize what they feel. Any time you feel like what you are doing is useless or not reaching anyone realize that even if it is 1 person, you are making an impact, we find comfort in the most esoteric things, and I find inspiration in you. Damn, its some beautifull gameplay right there, But I got to ask, how do you have so much cleave with your axe on the first clip ? Is it a blessing or this axe particular that got so much cleave (around 0:50 )

The axe has the perk Brutal Momentum (killing en enemy with a headshot causes the axe to ignore mass and cleave infinitely for a few seconds)

Its definitely worth it. Basically turns all the combat axes into cleaving weapons with massive damage. Its considered best in slot for them. Its also pretty front loaded so you'll only really need to see tier 2 on the blessing to get good value from it.

As a newb at fighting, I'm curious what's with the blocking after a lot of the melee attacks? If the answer is to shove the enemies,why not just attack again instead since that stops the enemies also?

Choco is basically frame canceling their heavy attacks with a block so they can sweep attack faster since it clears mobs efficiently on 1st heavy hit

Using the weapon customisation mod, it's a game changer as you can put sights on weapons like the hellbore which makes it so much better to use. Really hoping this next big patch adds it in as a official feature but I doubt it

im curious why boltgun on your vet instead of plasma, I know the plasma doesn't do much to muties but still

because boltgun is far better at killing things with instant reload on ult + reload speed stacking (to infinitely chain ult while farming toughness and more ammo...etc. off specials/elites, making vet stronger the higher "difficulty" it is), while plasma still gets limited by heat. Vet is op and boltgun pushes it over the edge as vet essentially removes all of boltgun's downside(while plasma either doesn't get downside removed or didn't have the downside and was "balanced" with that in mind, for example plasma equiptime is way faster than boltgun which makes vet's instant pullout on ult a lot less relevant). It's the best weapon but isn't particularly fun to watch.

you never needed trash hammer even when it had bugged damage. You just need one or more competent players that can keep the monster distracted while others deal with the adds.

@@EcchiRevenge Monsters* homie when you play auric maelstrom with “weakened” monstrosities, you can have three or more of those bad boys attacking your team at the same time. In the middle of a horde. Thammer is a blessing straight from the Emperor’s hand in those situations.

You’re acting like it’s a good team’s fault for dying if they have 2 chaos spawns on them in the middle of a horde with multiple mutants, pox bombers, and flamers charging them. That shit is pure chaos, and it’s what I love about this game. But you can’t act like for a second “oh it’s ackshually super easy you just need competent players” I have over 400 hours in this game, I am not the best but I have had a really good team get completely wiped by some totally wacky shit immediately at the start of an Auric Maelstrom mission. ^I am NOT trying to say here that the game is too hard and needs to be toned down. I LOVE the insane difficulty stuff. But, I am saying we the players sometimes NEED super powerful things like the thammer to survive those situations.

There are plenty of weapons that do lots of dps, like boltgun on instant reload veteran...etc. Not my fault people choose shit classes.
