Silja's voice is the perfect backup for Aurora.
@katiekat44576 жыл бұрын
Hemi * I don’t like it as much as her other backup singer and i really loved when Martin did it. I think male voices do better against her voice. Plus the girl in the back looks like a badly dressed boy. Bad hair too.

She has gotten so much more confident
@katiekat44576 жыл бұрын
Violintention violin I disagree. I think she seem less confident and more shy. When she was only in Norway and had just started giving interviews in the US she seemed confident. Know she seemed like she didn’t want to talk and was using her giggling to get by with the conversation. She also speak good english and yet she seemed like she was hesitating to find the english word. Which is weird because over the last couple of years i’m sure she has been speaking almost all english. She also has a little stutter but that’s not new. I just hope it’s not getting worse for her. Of course you don’t stutter when you sing so it will never effect that. I really thought she seemed extremely shy and wanted to get out of there. Normally i would say she is confidence but i wouldn’t say it today. I’m not sure what you were seeing but everyone hears things differently. She’s never been shy singing.
@smarie966 жыл бұрын
^ I so agree with you, she seemed quite stressed while talking. Which is probably why she said that she doesn't like talking and wanted to just start singing. Aurora goes into her own world while singing, that world seems to be a comfort zone to her. I just don't hope that she feels too pressured and stressed because she is getting so big.
@darksaint01245 жыл бұрын
I disagree. Just watch how comfortable she is when performing, now go back and look at her performances from 2014-15 and it is obvious that she is more confident than she was. Aurora didn't even dance on stage her first 2 years, the only movement you got from her was a nervous energy that manifested in her hands.
@aeropilot44195 жыл бұрын
pop violin Yeah, I think it’s a hard thing to quantify, we can only guess at what stresses and pressures she has to put up with not only from the record company but from dealing with everyone else in the band wanting to do this or that, in general though, she seems quite relaxed but, being an Aspie, she’s always going to be a little bit socially awkward

For those missing Odd Martin. OMartin has said he hasn't got time for his own projects travelling 250 days a year. Thats why he had to quit touring with Aurora.. He still writes music with Aurora though. He has been part of different bands himself and is part of a new band now (called Strange hellos) and writes/produces music together with other artists. The music industry in Bergen (or Norway in general) is pretty small so everyone in Aurora's band has other projects on the side too. It's normal.. OMartin has for instance produced the song "Everybody knows" (song in a Hollywood movie) for another great Norwegian artist living in Bergen, Aurora's friend Sigrid. OMartin produces a lot of Sigrid's songs actually. You should listen to Sigrid on KZbin. She is amazing too.

The whole band is so tight knit. Wonderful to listen to. I've been playing her music a lot since 'discovering' her last month. I haven't done something like that in decades.

AURORA is definitely from a different planet when it comes to her songs and music style. She’s unique and deluged with Angelica and celestial emotion that is unmatched by other mainstream secular modern artists. If I had to guess whose reincarnation she would be I would guess David Bowie. She’s a Risk taker with clear mission on what she wants to convey to her fans the introverts and outsiders. Excellent and impressive artist.
