As always with Aurora, this is an amazing song. I just want to say that your "rant" was interesting to me :). It's inspired by Aurora's lyrics and even if I think it's not related to a specific interpretation of this song (not very directly) it's still very interesting :). Thx for your reaction. EDIT: And i also agree that Aurora often make you thing about meaning and some topics. And it is also very cool.

I think religion is a private matter,and should not be pushed by society.Many people here in Norway say,I believe in me.I liked that.I believe in God,as a universal creator who created all religions,all races...and when it comes down to it,we all have a divine spark in us❤ loved this reaction,wise man

On the topic of atheism, it doesn't mean you don't believe in anything it just means you don't subscribe to a religion, "a" -without "theist" - theology. Most of us that declare ourselves atheists are just saying that we don't follow a religion, deity, or anything supernatural. We find meaning in life in whatever each of us sees in it. I'm not sure about other atheists but I live my life just fine not believing in anything to give it a god figure, not money, not success, I just live my life being happy and trying to be a good person. So yes, atheists are a real thing, it's just probably not what you thought it meant. But I think the reason that line is here in context with the rest of the lyrics makes sense. Parts like "I won't feel ashamed, mother" "Can you break the chains off her" "Not a sinner she's a lover" kinda makes it clear that it's a response to a specific theology that warrants people to be prejudice towards others.

I would strongly separate belief from religion. It is not at all the same thing, a religion is an organized, external, thing. Atheism is not believing in a god. If you make money your god, then your are not an atheist. And kind of effed up. It is very important to understand that you DON'T need to make anything your god. At all. Thinking something is important is not making it a god. Also do not mix this with moral standards, the perception that you cannot have a moral framework without an organised religious view is one of the most destructive sentiments in history.

I think you are confused about atheism. Belief in concepts, purposes and philosophies doesn't mean I am not an atheist. It is my lack of belief in a supernatural god, that makes me an atheist. You can argue that any belief can be seen as your god (I think it is Jordan Peterson that speaks about your highest belief structure is your de facto god). But that is in a metaphorical sense. Atheism is the lack of belief in a god in the literal sense. We all have belief structures, but they exist in our minds or in exchanges between us, they are not supernatural beliefs.

I do not believe anything either I know or I don't know why should I jump in to believes and intellectual assumptions about the magical world around me. :) You can just remain an open truth seeker with no beliefs and just quietly sit back and listen.
