Song is just about being who you are you don't need a cure. Self acceptance and love.

The further you dig down in her music, you will love her even more. There is something with her that no other artist have. It is difficult to explain. She is a gamechanger in music. The last 6 months i`ve seen her live twice and it was like "what happend now? " all dark thoughts, worries and tensions dissapeard. Probably because AURORA sings about feeling being on the outside of society. W&W`s :-) All her fans belong in her Queendom and AURORA calls them Warriors & Weirdoes 🙂

She wrote this song to protest conversion therapy practiced in some countries including her own to “cure” homosexuality. She’s bisexual and doesn’t limit her love to anyone. I’m hetero but support gays, especially lesbians and bisexual women. Women are already discriminated against too much without further issues about their sexuality.

Also a song that supports everyone who is different. Who don't fit the mold to what society deems normal. Whether that is having a diagnosis, that makes you querky/tick different (which she does have, autisme), or identify different, having nich interests.. Etc.. Be you is essentially what she is saying. With the good and bad. But don't change just because somebody says you should, if it's not right for you healthwise or mentally. Maybe what others see as weakness, gives you strength, perspective, talent - creating uniqueness

Her entire Nidarosdomen concert is an epic, emotional experience. All songs are amazing but 'through the eyes of a child' is exceptional and really shows her vocal ability. Her live on Kexp is also amazing with 'all is soft inside' a standout for me. There are also some great vids on here that show her endearing quirkiness, she can be so funny! Oh and she does an amazing cover of 'teardrop' by Massive Attack 'for like a version' as well as David Bowie's 'Is there life on mars' and the Beatles 'Across the universe' and also 'Scarborough Fair'.

Check out Aurora "All is soft inside" or "Churchyard" at KEXP live in Rekyavic Iceland. She performed a great mini concert there...every song is a banger. Also AURORA is featured in a great music video...."Askjell featuring AURORA" The song is titled "To be loved". Her voice and Askjell's music go so well together.

She performs this song live (on TV) in a kind of theatrical environment, reproducing the same setting and with a lot of poepel dancing..... Amazing. You should try it.

The quirkiness you refer to is even more evident in her live performances and you get a chance to see how immersed she gets into her songs. You can often see her bring herself back from where ever she went. Good example, "Through the Eyes of a Child" live at Nidarosdomen. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJSqaq2Kr9icqac

The only way to react to Aurora is her live performances for she is without doubt the best live performer out there she truly is the essence of what the art of music should be all about.trust me be prepared to have your emotions moved like never before, her live performance of a song she wrote at the age of 9 called Lucky at her Christmas concert at the nidarosdomen cathedral is a masterpiece, you will be moved beyond words it’s that good. Enjoy your journey ❤️

Yay back with Aurora🤗 really great reaction👍 Yes, she’s truly unique as both an artist and human being💕 You can basically pick any song by her, she’s very diverse in her music 😊 This song addresses the gay community (Aurora is bisexual), tics (touretts) and her cute “weirdness” like head shaking, eye expressions and hand movements. She painted all the masks herself 😊 “May there never be a cure for human nature” Aurora You should check out some live performances, and there’s so many to choose from 😅😍 I’m sure you’ll like: “Soft Universe” live from Nidarosdomen (cathedral in Norway) 2017 “Runaway” live at the Nobel peace prize concert 2015 Yes the music video has about 500 million views on KZbin, but this live version is so much better, trust me👍 Aurora herself like that people starts with this song, it’s an important song for her and one of few that are about herself 💕 She wrote this song when she was only 11 years old😳 Billie Eilish was inspired by Aurora when she was about 12 years old and watched the “Runaway” music video, she thought this is what I want to do wether it goes anywhere or not. She has said it in several interviews. Recently Aurora won a music award in Norway, and Billie Eilish sent her a video message gratulating and thanking her, I think that was really sweet of her 💕

Oh, and she used to cut her hair with a pizza scissor 👍😍😍 She would like to have long hair, but she can’t stand it. So therefore she have those “antennas” which she did braid sometimes. In August a fan cut them of with Aurora’s permission, but she looks lovely no matter what 💕 But she has used some fake “antennas” lately 👍😍

@@lillm6874 Imagine being allowed on stage with Aurora during a live show...I'd 100% for sure pass out. Lol. Then imagine having her cut your hair, then being allowed to cut her iconic jelly fish tendrils off... I don't think I could have cut them off! My hands would've been shaking uncontrollably, and I'd probably be crying really bad (in a good way).
