This is her first love song, she doesn’t usually talk about love in her lyrics and when she released this one she said she felt it was time 💜

She wrote this song in 2017 when she felt this kind of love, but was hesitant to release it, because she had not written a love song before. She released it during Covid lock down, when she felt like her fans needed some love. The meaning of the song is not just about a single person or relationship but about the importance of the feeling of love in general: "'Exist For Love' is the first love song I ever wrote. But as most of my songs, it has a much larger and deeper meaning than just love between 2 individuals. I believe that love is one of the strongest forces we have on this planet and in us people, and I believe that once we learn true, pure and unselfish love, we are reminded of why we exist, and I think we understand why we are here once we learn that, that kind of pure love exist, which is quite beautiful. And I love many things....and many people."

She usually dont sing/make typical love songs but under the lockdown she felt giving love and hope to people. ❤ All the costumes and props in the video are made by her and her sisters. ❤

Thank you for your reaction video to Aurora's 'Exist For Love' music video. She stated in an interview that back in early 2020 when this was released her thought was to provide a little comfort for the 'older generation' who were in lock-down before the vast population was. That is why she made it in a sorta 1940s style. Please have a listen to another Aurora song from early 2022, that to me has the sense of being a follow up to 'The Seed'. I’ve fell down the Aurora rabbit hole 7 years ago and I can honestly say that she never writes a bad song her catalog of songs are outstanding filled with lyrics that makes you think deeply about life and the world we live in,it’s astounding that she wrote songs like (Lucky)at the age of 9 (Runaway)aged 11/12 in fact her whole first album was filled the songs written by her as a teenager for me to say that she’s special would be an understatement Aurora simply is a wordsmith supreme an extraordinary artist and songwriter and I for one am blessed to have her music her words of poetry in my life.Only one word to describe Aurora GENIUS ❤️

Great reaction🤗 It’s such a beautiful love song, thank you Aurora for giving it to us❤️ Asked about her experience directing the music video, she said: "It was wonderful! I love directing videos, and I tend to enjoy being in control. Especially when it comes to my own art. During times like these, you have to get a little extra creative. Which I enjoy. We had to keep it local, and simple. But that seemed to be the perfect thing for this song. Everything I am wearing is also self-made by me and my sisters out of old clothes. Very fun." Just a heads up: One video you might want to skip and go directly for a live version (HAIK concert) is "Daydreamer", unless you really want to hear the studio version of the song. Because the real music video for Daydreamer that was planned was skipped, and what is left is mostly just a lyric video over some Aurora clips dancing in slow motion, but not a real music video with a lot of production.

I admired why and how she released it, but this was initially too sugary sweet for my taste. 😊Has grown on me over time, but I still prefer the live acoustic versions with just guitar or piano. The last version I watched (and really enjoyed), was Live from COP26 (great show with really nice versions of "The River" and "Warrior").
