It's funny you say she is "the zeitgeist." Because I think I know what you mean by that.....and if so, I definitely agree. I'm a Millenial myself....but nothing annoys me more than when Boomers or Gen-Xers talk crap about either Millenials or Gen-Z. They're utterly clueless about what those generations are ACTUALLY like. Sure, every generation has it's absurdities and flaws. But.....speaking of absurdities and flaws, let's just say......Boomers are in NO position to criticize anyone....ever. Personally, I think Gen-Z is quite impressive. And I think the world will be in _very_ good hands once they grow up and take power. Assuming the Boomers ever hand the baton over they're _still_ gripping on to for dear life. Very well said! I'm more than a bit obsessed with Aurora. For one, I just love her music and the entire creative aesthetic world she's built. It's a wonderful, healing, emotionally cathartic place to visit. But I also adore HER, as a human. She's the single most self-actualized person I've ever witnessed. She is without a doubt living her best life. She's a living example of what is possible in terms of having a thriving happy productive meaningful abundant free and hopeful life. She no doubt got very very lucky in life.....the nature & nurture cards she was dealt were clearly nothing but Aces. She even talked about that once in an interview....about how she's quite self-aware of just how lucky she is in terms of how/where she was raised. But, she didn't squander that....she built upon it and went beyond it. Plenty of other people are born into profoundly lucky circumstances, and either do nothing of value or meaning with that....or indeed use that as leverage to push others down. I'm about 11 years older than Aurora....but I look to her as one of my biggest sources of inspiration. If I'm only a third as self-actualized and free and happy when I'm 60....as she is now....I'll consider my life a profound success.
