when i say 0, 2 or 3 or x I mean the fret that you have to hold in order to play, so if I say 2 on the 3rd string it means you have to hold the finger on the second fret, If I say zero it means you don't hold any fret just play the open string, and X means you don't play this string.

Is it correct to say the frequency tunes the guitar and the capo transposes the key? Im just learning guitar. Theoretically the same cords should work without the capo?
