Great reaction 🤗 I love this song, but then I love all her songs💕 And I agree, she has an unique voice 👍 "When I was 9 I wrote most of this song. I watched someone brave and kind not demanding the respect and love they deserved. Growing up, I realized these things happen all around us. And we need to learn to be kind to ourselves and demand to be treated right. We all have the chance to climb up the ladder." AURORA Could you please react to Aurora with: “Murder Song (5,4,3,2,1) live at the Nobel Peace Prize concert 2015 This song is about mercy killing. She doesn’t want to live, and she knows that he’ll do anything for her cause he loves her. “The Seed” official video This is a powerful song and music video with an important message, a cry for Mother Earth. This song is more upbeat ✌️🌍❤️

I love that you can see her going to a place, almost like she can just grab the moment that inspires a song and you can feel it when you watch and listen

The way she shifts effortlessly from casual banter to her beautiful singing voice in a matter of seconds… wow!

If you like her voice, I highly recommend "It Happened Quiet (live at The Current)." It's a live performance in a very minimalistic setting in a studio, with just Aurora and her backup vocalist Silja Sol, who plays an acoustic guitar very gently as her only instrument. I don't think I've ever heard a live performance with such a crystal clear and beautiful voice.

"Under the Water" from this same concert is well worth a watch. Very heavy intense song....at least for an Aurora song. She really whips her body around on that one lol. And on the other end of the spectrum.....the performance of "It Happened Quiet" live at The Current is a must see. It's so incredibly nuanced and subtle and potent....she 100% loses herself in the song....and becomes the sound itself.

a brilliant example of dichotomy... deep dark lyrics and upbeat song

Aurora’s album releases are pretty good… but I think you’ll find (and most of her fans would agree) that she is actually better live than in a studio recording. I recommend the Aurora HAIK concert. Having said that she has some pretty good MVs too. Happy to join you on an Aurora journey.

I love winterbird, with it's poetry with it's deep sad meanings, which I can relate to. It has that cover or "bag" she speaks about in the beginning of this video. I would love to see you react to it💙💙

I only discovered Aurora this year as well, she's from Norway and if you want an amazing experience you should listen to the Live at Nidarosdomen concert. Nidaros Cathedral is the oldest Cathedral in Norway where they used to crown their kings and it's gorgeous with absolutely brilliant acoustics. Her performance is just at a much higher level at that concert. Very special and Through the eyes of a child is perfection!

I totally agree, I love sad songs (Joseph Arthur and Chad Vangaalen are an example! They are older music though). And Aurora is an example haha.

So glad you went down the Aurora rabbit hole. It's a lovely one to get lost in. She's basically one of my favorite humans on this planet.... Also....fun fact...she's a _huge_ Tool fan. She's a huge metal fan in general. But she's mentioned in several interviews and livestreams how much she loves Tool, and that her fav album of theirs is Aenima. As if she couldn't be more perfect...

You should listen to some of her new music! (there is quite a difference!) Like Heathens, either: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5ezYntve8iNe5I if you want something more relaxed with talking (got reminded of it with the "not so sad" in the start of this), or: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6Wug2qqdtJjnsk if you want something more produced (still live but with dancers and no crowd) Both versions great
