This was April 19th 2016 in the "Bowery Ballroom" in New York (filmed by The Honda Stage). She was 19 (2 months from 20), and she is 27 today. Her real name is Aurora Aksnes and she is from Norway. She is amazing live as you saw, and completely immerses herself in the music and lyrics, which she writes herself. She is the one doing "The Voice" calling to Elsa in "Frozen 2".

Aurora Aksnes, 27 from Bergen Norway. She started forming melodies at age 6 with lyrics coming around age 9. Singer-songwriter, Producer, Dancer, Choreographer and Musician. Aurora has been on world tours since she was 17, I believe. She has a huge catalog of her own music plus some really good covers. A true global artist in every aspect, no fakery, no pretenses, just a great human. Her global fan base are collectively known as Warriors and Weirdos. First of all, great idea for a reaction channel! You have a lovely family, and it's so cool watching three generations experience music together! That said, Aurora is truly a very special artist and person, as you'll see if you continue to explore her. This particular song is kind of sad (as Aurora said), but is wrapped in some very upbeat music (as she also said). Aurora often writes deep, dark lyrics with uplifting music. She says she's not trying to depress anyone, so it's her way of delivering a not-so-great message without making everyone sad. This particular song often gets misinterpreted as being about a guy. But as Aurora has said many times, most of the song was written when she was a child, and it was more about trying to fit in with crowds that had no interest in her. She eventually realized they weren't worth that kind of angst, and that's pretty much what this song is about. Of course, it also fits perfectly into many romantic relationships, and she's fine with people interpreting the lyrics in the way that best works for them. I hope your family continues to explore Aurora's magical world!

Hello there. This was a banger reaction, love it. I have loved this artist for seven years now ant i have never been bored. This is an artist which her live ones is better than the studion ones because of the emotions an expressions she pulls in. Every songs she perform is stellar for me and she usual change a bits here and there in the song. She is not sining she are the song and that is unusual for artist nowadays. Sorry about your sound though.

I really enjoyed your reaction to Aurora - despite the sound problems, I think you got a very good idea of how good an artist she is. I'm surprised that tin the last 3 months you haven't comeback to her music! Here's a list for you to choose from. It's funny to me how often people cite how _young_ she looks to them. I've heard a LOT of people say that. I just don't see it. She was around 20/21 in this....and looks it to me. Then again, that IS pretty young. I'm just saying she looks her age. She's 27 now...and looks 27 to me. She does have absurdly flawless skin....so that doesn't hurt lol!

She is an old soul in a youg body, she is a genuis in a goofy style, she is a dancer in a singing role, she wrappe all of her song in cool music and amazing vocaal but be carefull she sing about domestic violence, murder and dark subject.
