Hope you read comments so you realize how spot on your Disney idea was but she beat you to it. She already is the voice of the North Wind in "Frozen 2".

my advice: do more aurora. her current album is a kaleidoscopic view, both sonically in it's styles and lyrically in it's view of our macro and micro civilization. it seems you had a lot fun digesting this performance, don't hesitate to continue your journey.

Nice reaction. Funny you mentioned Disney, yes, she has been singing for Disney, in Frozen 2. She just released a new album; "What happened to the heart?". A lot of solid and experimental music.

Craziest thing about this song is that she wrote it when she was 11 or 12 !!! If you're looking for more live performances of her's to react to her full concert at Nidarosdomen really is worth checking out - both for the performance and the amazing venue which really lends itself to her vocals - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYGbn4Khlr1orbc

Nice reaction👍 Aurora is a Norwegian singer/songwriter/dancer and producer❤️ She wrote most of this song at the age of 11. It’s an important song to her🦋 Could you please react to a song from her latest album, “Starvation” official video Released on the 7th of June😍🔥🤘

*LOVE* seeing more Aurora on the channel. For another mind-blowing LIVE performance, please check out "It Happened Quiet (Live at The Current)". It's Aurora at her best: darkly beautiful, and she weaves a complex story with just the bare-bones necessary; its an unplugged, angelically acoustic duet, and a big favorite of the Warriors and Weirdos 😊👍

Aurora just captivates you and doesn't let go. One thing I've learned in her live performances especially is to watch her eyes. In this one, it's as if she was somewhere else and didn't come back to earth until she finished. Did you notice that? Also, her hand, arm and body movements are almost automatic for her. You get a sense of that if you watch more of her performances. A great one is her cover of Ariana Grande’s "GOD IS A WOMAN" for NRK P3 radio. There's a video of her complete set at the Peace Prize concert and she admits to the audience, and later in an interview backstage, that she was frightened (wouldn’t have known). To the interviewer she says it's a good thing she hadn't had anything to drink or she would have peed herself 😳).

Thank you 🙏🤍 Audio Lunch 🤍 for your 🌈 AURORA - 🏃 Runaway reaction! #auroraaksnes #aurora #runaway Yes, Björk is from Iceland, AURORA is from the Bergen area in West 🇳🇴 Norway Her voice is the voice that is calling Elsa in Frozen 2. There are also recordings of her singing the whole Frozen 2 title song. Remember, Frozen is set in Norway, so she is more of an original than the English version. AURORA is the kind of artist that doesn't need a beat to stay in time (same as Ren :)) and the backing vocals are sung by a friend of her's who's been touring with her for years. Check out the "Wohngemeinschaft" gigs here on YT she did on 05.06.2024 (that's 14 days ago) where they play a whole set in a private living room. Look for "in Cologne 05.06.2024 - acoustic show Die Wohngemeinschaft Köln" on YT

I am always amazed at how beautiful this song is when I don't even count it among my multitude of favorite songs from her. She is absolutely my favorite singer, but of course she is much more than a singer, she is multi talented and her song writing is exceptional, I think she is a lyrical genius. Thanks for a very nice reaction to my all time favorite multi talented artist.

When the music truly flows through someone... She's here, but a part of her is somewhere else, right? Delivering through all her being the emotions that this "not so here" part of her seems to be living just now. Her renditons are intense (be they very energetic, or just soft and delicate), in a way or another (it evolves as time passes, as well as her vibrant inspirations in the moment and her emotions tell her how and what to do). Like the highly creative, multifaced singing little Giant she is (I say it as the very unbiased and neutral viewer I am🙃). Here are two different other live versions (both in acoustic set up), to check out privately, if you wish: - It's the 1st song of: Aurora: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert (2015): kzbin.info/www/bejne/m6elmH-Nhtx0fKM - AURORA - Runaway at 101.9 KINK | PNC Live Studio Session (2022): kzbin.info/www/bejne/apPFpoVjptN5osk To see some other of her musical faces, I could react to: 20171102 - AURORA - Nidarosdomen - 09/12 Through the eyes of a child: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJzbhKGIi9R3hbM (Nidarosdomen is the venue) or Aurora - It Happened Quiet (Live at The Current): kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4aQf2mCpt-Xf68 (one guitar, two voices) Anyway, thanks for reacting to Aurora, this gorgeous, singing little Moth.🙂👍

As a little girl in Norway she spent a lot of time in the forest with the animals day and night and has always been “special.” She was terrified of performing at first but wanted to share her thoughts and music. For another side of her watch the video Cure For Me. One of her most upbeat songs but as usual with a deeper meaning. It’s a protest against conversion therapy to “cure” homosexuality. She’s bisexual and regardless of what anyone thinks of that they should respect her courage. I’m hetero and I do.😊

Nice reaction guys. Her drummer, guitar player, and second keyboard player (lady) accompanied her on vocals. There was also a deep synth voicing on some of the ahh's😊. Still I think you're right that there must have been some additional synth tracks backing. So a click track was probably sync'ing it.

Aurora also reminds me of Bjork in a lot of ways. They both have a Scandinavian sound to their music, and their voices. They use a lot of similar atmospheric elements, and they both experiment with the tone of their music (beautiful/ugly, quiet/loud, high/low). They both have very pure live vocals, too.

You have just hit Golddust with Aurora I’ve no hesitation in saying she’s the best singer songwriter I have heard in a very long time and to think she wrote this song at the age of 12 is astonishing,I’ve had the privilege of seeing her live and trust me live she’s at a different level, only one word needed to describe Aurora GENIUS ❤️

There are definitely backing tracks of her voice in this performance but all the band members also sing including the drummer on many of her songs. The keys player is the main back up singer in this concert. They show her a few times with the long reddish hair.

No track for backing vocal or instrument, a click sur but nothing more, Aurora is a natural. Their are so many to react to, pick anything. IMO she is Ren's soul sister, both so human, genius creatore, if you think of it Murder song can go so well with Violet's tale. Both of them expose a miroir of our society in our face, they want us to grow out of our shell and be more ''aware'' of the human condition on all level. I didn't look if you made a playlist and if you reacted to '' It Happend quiete', live at the curent. That would be a good next one for you to hear her 'Angelic' voice. Yes she is from Norway and Bjiork from Iceland, but Aurora didn't listen to much music went she grew up, Leonard Cohen, Enya and David Bowie are mostely what inspired her, along with classic music. Keep on digging, and The Warrior and Weirdo (fane base name) will be here.

I'm not sure how much of a performer she was at this point. She hated being on stage for a long time (serious introvert), and was terrified before this concert. I just think she got got lost in the music. She wasn't aware of her movements apparently. These days she enjoys performing and moves around a lot. Incredible live artist, but her albums are also seriously good. Constantly evolving, and you never know what to expect. Amazing lyrics. Her latest album is quite something, and the video to "Starvation" is a must see.

Great reaction guys. Please keep checking out Aurora - you won't be disappointed. In addition to her original songs (of which there are many and all amazing), you might want to check out some of her live covers - she has a talent for making them uniquely her own. I'd suggest: Life on Mars by David Bowie, Believer by Imagine Dragon, Teardrop by Massive Attack and God is a Woman by Arriana Grande. (Oh, and Rasputin by Boney M - this one will surprise you!)

You mention the drummer triggering loops. For sure there is a lot of high level live production tricks going. I noticed in another performance a few years after this they actually sampled her voice into a synthesizer and use it like any other synth pad. Pretty clever and also speaks to the tonal quality of her voice. For a lot of artists live production tricks are used to hide limitations with performer. But with Aurora they're just as additional instruments to add dynamics...which is fine.

If, after all the comments you have already received about Aurora, you still don't understand that you have found a fantastic musician, composer, producer and warm-hearted soul, I feel sorry for you. What's missing now, as with many other reaction video makers, are paying Patreons who want Aurora... maybe you should give yourself a try and listen to some of her stuff without expecting payment... try 😊 (and her musicians are playing live 😉)

I'm going to catch a lot of hate for this but you mentioned how much the drummer was adding. He was her long time, co-writer, producer, and musical arranger and (imo) probably had more to do with Aurora's initial success than Aurora did. He left the band a few years ago and there was a marked change her sound. To my ear, for the worse. Let the attacks commence.
