I obviously do not know what is going on in the head of AURORA, but I feel the lines about God is less about religion and actual God. And more of a request of us not putting all our energy and effort towards religion, but remember our fellow human and treat each other with respect and care. Like she say "Be God in the shape of a girl, who walks this world" - not that we think we are important like a God, but that we act in kindness and treat all life nice, from the beetle to the lion. This is just my personal opinion ofcourse

That's the exact impression i get from this song. A plea for people to stop arguing about who is god. All incarnations of god are said to be goodness, yet so much evil is done in the name of god. Be good to each other, and then maybe god will remember us.

When I saw that you had reacted to this song. I was so happy. When you said my name, I was so proud. Finally I got someone to listen to what I wanted. I am so wonderfully happy about it. I've cried so many times over this song and now I did it again just as much about your reaction as her song. Just like this, I reacted the first time I listened to this I was so teary eyed that I had to stop every now and then. Especially between 8:48 - 9:15 when she has a very hard time holding back her tears, it is so genuine and beautiful. I thank you with all my heart. And yes i am a flubbering cry ball.

I really think you are courageous letting yourself be so open in your reactions. There is one thing that I would really like to point out and that is that the culture this song emanates from is the very secularized society of the scandinavian countries. You on the other hand have your background in a society which is very religious and where the existance of a good God is not an open question. All scandinavian kids grow up in a school which teaches them to make an active choice of believing or not (which I see as very healthy). BUT the thing you and the audience in the forest have in common is the wondering about God's eternal silence. Maybe I am just on old man rambling here, forgive me if so, but this is what I saw in your eyes.

Very interesting, I have felt this very close. I was born and raised as Christian in Indonesia. We are a very religious country, and it is out of the question not believe in any religion. Then I met the love of my life, my husband from Norway. My life changed. And it changed so much for the better. I understood I had a choice, and that Norwegians have a choice to believe in a religion. It took time to understand, but I really felt better embracing life, as the most important thing. Its hard to explain for other Asians, but you really dont have to be religious to embrace life, and live a good life. I lived with my husband for 8 years, living in Norway for 6. They have been the happiest years of my life by far. He was, what I would call a part Christian, as most Norwegians are, but not religious in that sense. They have another view on religion than Asians have. Sorry, this is a long message, but this is also an important matter. Asians should try to understand that people who believe in life itself, before a religion, are also good, kind and heart warming people. Because many Asians are quite shock to know so many dont have or believe in a religion. My husband was the kindest and most good hearted man I have ever known.

@@goeranm55 I agree. Where I come from people are mostly born into being Muslims. Indonesia has most Muslims in the world, with 225 million Muslims. 24 millions are Christians. The thing is that kids dont have any choice, and they are raised into what their parents are, very religious. Its unthinkable to break out of that sircle. This will limit you later in life, at least my eyes opened to see that. Religion may also be a source for hate, separation and fighting, when we should all live in peace and harmony. Anyway, stay safe, Goran 💕

A lot of first, and second time reactors to AURORA find her movement, her expression very weird. Like she is just to much, exagerrating and not always in sync with music. But after a while og seems that most find that this is just the way she is, music flows through her, and she becomes music. And it is perfect, her movement, her expression, her eyes, voice, words, it all reinforce the music, and she understands that. And people not only start ho accept it after a while, but they start to love it. She is really something special, something pure, and unique. And I am so happy that she is who she is, and let is experiance this force of musical beeing that she is.

I think the song is about embodying the concept of God's everlasting and infinite love (whether or not somebody believes in Him) and interacting with the world through that lens. She's saying that regardless of your belief in a higher power that love still exists and can be captured within the human spirit. We'd be better off as a whole if we all tried to live up to that standard. This has to be my favorite reaction video I've ever seen. You display your emotions so honestly, but it feels genuine and not an act to make a good video.

Your compliments are well recognized. I was intensely into the performance both the lyrics and the delivery of this magical Aurora. This what I love about reacting and reviewing artists performances, when they moved me and make remember of their pure and lasting talent. Aurora was just suggested one of my friends in FB , at first I saw her passion in music, then now, I feel her as the music already. @@laluba3603 I am responding to her saying "If there is a God" meaning she is not sure which makes me sad. I follow the Word of God, which is the Bible. In the Bible, it says we are to worship Him alone, nothing on earth and nothing under the sea. We are however supposed to be good stewards of the earth which we have not done a very good job of that. We are not to worship ourselves or our life because we did not create ourselves or give ourselves life, so I worship Him alone for that.

@@lynettepascua4730 it is also written in the Bible that God is Love and even that it is the mainstream to follow to reach his kingdom. In the light of that, Aurora seems to be on a very good path, at least it seems to me. there is a very thin line between spirituality and superstition and the free will in conjonction with the doubt and our heart(Love), are the best tool we have to not fall into superstition. Of course it is just my humble opinion. What do I really understand of what we call GOD?, "it is never born and will never die" ... ok.... I'm already out ;o) but God is Love, ok I feel that and I can work with that. Stevie Wonder said in his song superstition "if you believe in things that YOU don't understand, then YOU surfer". Good advice ;o) A lot of Love to all of you :o)

AURORA have been writing her own song since she was 9 years old (I think, I'm not sure but as early as that). She's okay with religion as long as it doesn't harm anyone but she's very spiritual. This Infections Of A Different Kind is also the title of her first EP. This is just Step 1 sir. Step 2 is her 2nd studio album (A Different Kind Of Human), if this made you cry, I don't know with A Different Kind Of Human. 😭😂 SHE'S THE BEST LYRICIST AND PERFORMER. PERIODT! 💙💝💜

I don't think she is focussing on the existence of God as much as she is reflecting on what humans are doing to each other and to other living things... It is more about questioning if God would be happy with us if he really created us. Look at what we're doing to each other. God would turn away if he saw what we are doing...
